Took my motorbike in for an MOT to Dixons today the first time I've been there. Just a small place but looks very well equipped and run. Helen at reception was lovely to deal with and I met and chatted with Craig who does the bike after the test. Was a really super and helpful chap and I've booked the bike in for some service work - new chain + sprockets- soon. I have full confidence they'll do a great job. Craig is a biker himself and clearly really knows his stuff. A really nice, local, family run business and thoroughly recommended.
The best, most honest and knowledgable guys out there. So so affordable. They not only do their absolute best for you everytime, they do it as cheaply as they can. They take great pride in their service and they deserve far more stars that. 10/10.
The title of Mechanic or Engineer gets used very loosely these days. Most mechanics will simply fit new parts. The skill of problem solving has been lost somewhere and is probably no longer taught.
Craig is a proper mechanic and problem solver - there are not many of these people around now.
Craig recently completed a recommissioning of an old Vespa for me, getting it back on the road.
I will be booking all my vehicles with Dixons from now onwards.
Great service from the staff at this garage, had mot done just before Christmas and just been back for full service on my van. All wok fully explained with photos of work to back it up.

I use to work for a parts distributor so visited many, many garages. This place is one of only three that I will trust doing anything to my car! One of the most trustworthy people I know. If he tells you something needs doing ... It really does need doing. I am not the only one that knows so if you need car/ motorcycle work doing book early ????
First time I have ever been to this garage and it was brilliant. Whilst driving to work my engine warning light and other lights came on and I panicked. Pulled over to this garage and Craig was great. They managed to fit me in that day. Thorough diagnostics and really well explained and shown to me. The customer service was brilliant and I will definitely be returning here for future MOTs, services and repairs. Really reasonable price as well, my bank balance didnt take as much as a knock as I thought.
