This is a lively small quirky cafe, have to get in quick or book in advance. Food is amazing, the hospitality and service is second to none. Always treated like a VIP.
We had the privilege of going on others day and every mother had a bunch of daffodils (these are my favorite flowers?
Highly recommend.
A wonderful delight of a cafe. Visited with my wife and two young children on our holiday. Owners were fantastic especially with the kids. Catered for one of our gluten-free needs and had lots of delicious options on the menu. Can’t wait for next year’s holiday visit!
A delightful quiet cafe just off the center in Brixham. The food was absolutely delicious, cheese toastie (made even more scrumptious with a homemade red cabbage coleslaw and a beautiful little side salad) and fabulous ham, egg and chips. Mark ,the convivial owner, tells me he has a special way of cooking ham. All I can say is it was some of the tastiest ham I've ever had.
Don't get me started on the chocolate milkshake....I felt like a 10 year old.
We popped in for a lunch with our toddler and dog and were made to feel very, very welcome. We chatted with the owner who is lovely while our food was prepared. We had an excellent full English and tuna melt panini. We were looked after very well and the food was superb, even home made coleslaw. Prices are more than reasonable, the day after we paid quite a lot more for food which was no where near as good. Looking forward to our next visit.
Delicious takeaway afternoon tea. Kim and Mark were very good in providing a takeaway afternoon tea for us even though their lovely tea room is closed. Lovely fresh sandwiches, cakes, scones and macarons. Generous portions of strawberry jam and Roddas cream. Beautifully packaged and thoroughly enjoyed during our week's festive break. Highly recommended when they re-open.
Stumbled on this place whilst trying to dodge the rain on a wet February morning - so glad we did! Cream tea was absolutely amazing and highly recommended! It was definately a local place but we felt welcome as tourists ????
What a find! We were nearby on holiday and looking for a Devon cream tea - THIS place seemed to fit the bill and oh wow! It was truly delicious - the scone was still hot from the oven! Tea was served in a teapot with cup and saucer. There were even the options to replace the tea with prosecco or a G&T! I also liked the eco-friendly use of washable flannels to dry hands.
That plus a friendly welcome and reasonable prices make this a special place indeed!
Only 4 or 5 tables, though! Worth reserving ahead of time!
Highly recommended! There were two us of choosing to celebrate birthdays here yesterday and we were made to feel so special. Our Devon Cream teas were everything we dreamed of. Just perfect. Their breakfast looked amazing. So much attention to detail. Such a lovely spot in Brixham. If you can get a table you're lucky!!!
