When visiting Digby’s the atmosphere was great the workers were so welcoming and had amazing smiles. There slogan “saving people from bad coffee” was true . I had an amazing cappuccino with chocolate carefully and ever so gently on the top. The flavours of there coffee was fulfilling, and was a great way to start my day.I definitely will be coming back and suggest you guys go to.
If you’re hungry at CJ, there’s a west Cornwall pasty company on one of the platforms.
I bought a donut labelled ‘donut’ from digbys for £4 which looked like very other jam donut you ever saw. Disappointed with a Nutella filling and very sickly dough.
Every time I passed one of these outlets at a train station it amazes me their lack of health and safety training and hygiene they have actually display. As you can see from the pictures the staff wear no form of PPE when preparing the food. Hair is not tied back food is openly prepared in an not hygienic location. Not to mention I be has just seen one of the staff walking through the station area with an 8 inch serrated bladed knife with no care in the world swinging it in her hand. Hence why I am more convinced to never eat at one of these places there lack of knowledge for food practices, knife safety, safe food practices astounds me. Nope once again very disappointed wish I would of now taken a picture of the staff with the knife swinging in her hands total lack of concern for her or others. The knife was not even wrapped or covered or in a sheath terrible
Don’t get their homemade sausage roll! Just tastes like a really worse version of greggs sausage roll but more expensive! Or it tastes like corkers frozen sausage which shouldn’t be put into a homemade sausage roll!! Service was good, quick, and very polite!
I’m sorry guys but 6.50 for a sausage roll is a joke. You charged this for the late night customers and for that I will never come back here, even for a coffee in the morning, there’s plenty of other places to get that from. Sort it out!
You won't believe it, but on the hottest day of the year, when the pavement was practically sizzling at 32 degrees, I had a sudden urge to visit Digby's Patisserie. I must admit, I have no idea why I thought sweaty heat and pastries were a good mix – call it a momentary lapse of reason, or perhaps my brain melted in the sun.
Anyhow, I strolled in, and somehow, I got bamboozled into forking over £4.45 for an almond croissant. Now, don't get me wrong, I have a soft spot for almond croissants, but the ones with almond cream in the middle are like rare Pokémon – you gotta catch 'em all! ????????
I interrogated the poor server, demanding to know if there was almond cream involved. Safety first, right? Thankfully, they assured me it was an almond cream affair, not just a casual almond cameo.
Oh, and speaking of desert, the prices at Digby's could rival an oasis in the middle of a barren wasteland. At that point, I contemplated whether I should have escaped to Costa, where I could at least get a refill on my iced coffee, or maybe made a daring exit to Sainsbury's.
But hey, if you're on a daring almond croissant adventure and nothing else on the counter beckons, Digby's Patisserie is your quirky oasis in the scorching desert of pastry choices.
Two lovely and smiling children welcomed me, worked fast and professionally, continued to enjoy my smiles while I was shooting, gratefully thanked me for sharing with you your impressions. Thanks to Halifax's contactless credit card payment is quick and easy and easy enjoy the wonderful double espresso with milk and a lot of sugar and the delicious sandwich with bacon, a very tasty, very cheap, very convenient store between the platforms at the stop, a gulp of warmth in our busy everyday life, even on Saturdays, en Day Clapham Junstion bustling with life and people fleeing the corridors not to miss the next train :). I recommend!
5 stars to serve children, the quality of the items we offer, and the positive energy we have been giving to us since the morning! <3 <3 <3
"Saving Good People from Bad Coffee". What a joke! This has to have been the most disgusting coffee we have bought from anywhere. AND they have the audacity to charge £3.30 for a very small cup. Wanted to support an independent business rather than the nearby Costa, but what a mistake.
Plus, their pastries are eye-wateringly expensive. Could have bought a family size pack of sausage rolls from Greggs for less than this place is charging. And I've NEVER seen croissants so pricey.
Save your money and go elsewhere.
