These lot can't wait to get away soon enough. Shutters come down 15 mins before closing, though they don't actually lock the door until after 6pm. However, by 17:55 they've already turned off their systems so can't serve you anyway.
Go back the next day and what you need is out of stock regardless. Useless. Avoid this place and go to Buchanan & Campbell a couple minutes further down the road, where they actually care and provide service.
Went in to get my medication and spoke to pharmacist and was spoken to in a disrespectful manner.as i had asked for my medication as its on repeat prescription and wasnt there and i advised it should be.and then i was getting told doctors surgery had it so once i called them they said chemist had it this is unacceptable as i need my medication as i have mental health issues and then i was advised by phamacist they would look again and to then they found my prescription and then was given 6 months flouxitine which i have never been given that amount.i am only given 3 months supply at a time as i was waiting .i could hear the way loiuse hay spoke to other customers is a disgrace. i will be collecting my prescriptions one more time then i will be going to another chemsit total disgrace.
Wow What a joke this place is , your are the only one standing there and 4 of them manage to ignore you while all chatting to each other , you hand over the prescription and then you wait 20 mins , and all i'm waiting on is basic antibiotics , this joke of a chemist then says we only have half of your prescription which is a regular occurrence , it turns out they did the same to a friend 40 mins before me , so handing out half of peoples prescriptions is what they do.
Trying hard but Doctors surgeries full of part time pin money practitioners, making it hard for continuity.Surgeries dysfunctional!! Still in Covid mode.All part timers should be taxed more,to recover the £250k,or more of taxpayers to train them;you don't have part time pilots.Turn chemists into mini surgeries,it's a good chemist,but hard pressed like all medical things nowadays.
There are not enough stars for me to make golden for the practice of the staff at this chemist.
I am a difficult customer to deliver to as my prescription can change from week to week.
I have agoraphobia so I cannot get to see my doctor.
He has to listen on the phone to new symptoms as I have a compromised immune system and many health issues and my doctor might dispense a prescription outside my normal prescription day.
The staff at Dixon Chemist have been so flexible with accommodating these changes.
My prescription day was changed to the day before it is due so I can keep regular from the early morning 'til evening my medications.
The staff in dealing with me, a housebound person with many chronic health issues and chronic trauma issues, have shown they care about providing excellent service.
When I've had to 'phone, the staff listen (not easy, as trauma issues can make calling difficult for me; I can speak too fast, I can get upset, I'm not an easy customer to deal with).
I cannot commend the staff at Dickson Chemist highly enough.
All the staff deserve a medal for having to deal with a very messed up physical and emotional person as myself.
The staff at this chemist provide a caring, understanding, listening, approachable, flexible practice.
In my experience, with the health issues I have, needing to be dealt with by many services, Dixon Chemist are the best chemist at providing a home delivery service I have ever come across.
Feelings secure in a chemist's service provision is vital to a this customer's needs.

Fragile customers who rely on any kind of service provision need what the staff at Dixon Chemist provide.
Too busy talking to her colleagues about home improvement to make eye contact or even acknowledge me. Took the script then when I went back to the desk a few mins later she asked if she could help me. When I pointed out to her that she'd already served me but was too busy chatting to her colleagues she turned to one of them and smirked. I always support independents but will avoid this place in the future.
Signed up for the prescription delivery and the service is a joke.
Dickson's say they will be in contact within 5 days of signing up, but I've had no contact from them for 13 days even though I tried to get hold of them thru their website.
I now have a "sorry we missed you" card from yesterday evening cuz they didn't even give me a rough date or time for delivery...but they won't attempt another delivery, I have to contact the nearest store myself!
People's meds are far too important for this delivery service to be so badly handled! Ridiculous!
They don't reply to emails, and when they do they're reluctant to let you speak directly to someone even if you're having problems with what you've bought from them. Their website is a nightmare to use and they are really expensive as well.
