Just popped in to this newly opened business in Walderslade village,Chatham,Kent.
They sell a range of crepes and waffles plus frappe, soda floats and posh coffee and hot chocolate.
For those who don't have a sweet tooth there are nachos and a hot dog.
Loaded nachos were tasty, I would have preferred the cheese sauce hotter than it was. We also had a hot dog which came in a crusty roll which we liked.
Drinks were frappes , chocolate and salted caramel. Gooey,creamy and very tasty.yiu can't go to a dessert cafe without having a dessert so we had a Bueno crepe with white chocolate shavings and sauce and soft ice cream. Yummy.
The owner spoke to us and was very polite and asked for feedback. He also said that the start up menu would be extended at a later date.

Decided to treat my 4 year old and 2 year old to the new cafe in town today. I was not disappointed. We went in at 11 so we beat any lunchtime rush and it was lovely and calm. We had the hotdog and milkshake deal, one vanilla, one chocolate. They were both delicious but the chocolate one was to die for! The hot dogs were a great size and very yummy. The kids had a soft serve ice cream each with sauce which they loved and I had a kinder Bueno waffle with soft serve which was soooo yummy....my only regret was that I couldn't finish it all because I'd had the hotdog. The range of other ice creams was great and I can't wait to come back and try them as well as the crepes and other waffle flavours. A great addition to the village!
The server was also kind, friendly and polite and couldn't do enough to help while I was juggling my two 'boisterous' boys. A really lovely place and I look forward to bringing my boys again hopefully over many years as they get older :)
At present it is cash only but not a problem with the coop cash machine just across the road. Definitely recommend
Nice varities of desserts, nachos, milkshakes, ice creams etc very yummy and flavourful too... All food items are reasonably priced too. Warm, very welcoming staff and excellent customer service. Lovely little desserts place in walderslade, a must try for local residents.
onight we found a little local hidden gem!! @dessertcafewalderslade was awesome we had some lovely desserts… they boys already want to go back tomorrow???? with the menu we saw tonight from breakfasts to luxury milkshakes looks like we’ve found our new go to for a treat, also staff were very friendly and helpful… another great local business #supportlocalbusiness #desserts #dessertcafe
We came here today and it didn't disappoint. We had panins for lunch, the flavours were great. For dessert we had waffle and crepe, these were absolutely delicious! Good choice of variety on the new menu, would highly recommend. Definitely will be visiting again. Thanks
Wow! Amazing food! We went all out and tried a bit of everything, Hot Dog, loaded nachos and bueno crepe! All I can say is amazing! The coffee is to die for as well! Staff were lovely and attentive. Would 100% recommend, we will be back again.
I went here the other day, and I couldn’t fault the service or the choice on the menu. They have a dessert for any taste buds, whether you’re looking for the fluffiest but crunchy waffles, the perfectly cooked and topped crepes or the tastiest cookie dough, down to all the flavours of ice cream they have. If sweet isn’t your thing, they have some savoury options too from the flavoursome hotdog to fully loaded nachos, they have a flavour for everyone. Even something as simple as the coffee is made fresh to order and served with a smile, nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be going back.
Really disappointed with the food, staff and cafe. We were the only customers, wasn’t the warmest of welcomes, the staff seemed preoccupied. We were told go over and order at the desk (which was a foot away from where we were sat), paid in advance, and then waited ages. Mine was last to be served as they ‘had to go out and buy bananas’ for my topping, baffled why they didn’t have a basic ingredient. Served eventually with average tasting crepe and cold coffee. The water was served in plastic disposable cups, someone came in and wanted cake, they had none, bizarre given it’s a dessert cafe. Sorry, but has to improve somewhat before we’ll be back.
