We had a delightful stop for lunch! The hot dog and smoked salmon sandwich were both delicious. The people there were very friendly and accommodating. It’s a small place but luckily we were able to sit inside. You can also get food and enjoy it outside, alongside the canal.
Stopped off in Fort Augustus at the end of our NC500 road trip and stumbled across this lovely little shop. Grabbed a couple of ice creams to enjoy in the sun whilst watching the boats go between the locks. Staff super friendly and welcoming. Great selection of ice cream - very tasty too! Reasonably priced given the location. Highly recommend.
The staff were simply lovely! I got good local hiking advice, too. And my sandwich and coffee were delicious!
This place is truly delightful! Their soups and sandwiches are excellent and the people who run the shop are absolutely lovely and super friendly. I got the lentil soup here earlier today and it was one of the best soups I’ve ever had - super flavorful and well balanced. The garlic bread that comes with their pasta is also excellent.
They prepare their food quickly and have seating too! No bathroom though
The owners were super nice. We asked for vegan options, and they improvised and made us two amazing mushrooms pesto sandwiches. The vegan raspberry crumble was also delightful, the establishment name is accurate. ????
We got stovies and a ham sandwich on a bagel, and both were delicious. Lovely people running the shop, too. I'd definitely recommend it for a quick bite or a coffee.
Craig and his wife were incredibly nice! Delicious food, great coffee and excellent service.
After having medical problems with my foot, Craig even offered to give us a lift to the next medical centre in Foyers, when we found out that there’s no public transportation. Glad to experience such pleasant people in this world.

A lovely, quaint option compared to some of the nearby competitors. They were kind enough to prepare a vegan baguette from scratch for my wife and I and it was delicious. Would highly recommend.
