Took two prescriptions in on a Saturday morning they told me I could collect on Monday. Went in on Monday they said both items would be in on Tuesday. Went in on Tuesday only one item was in and they made me pay for both items although I only had one. There was no apology and I will update this review when I go into tomorrow for the last item.
Yes the Chemist and staff are doing a wonderful job.
But the best staff are given time off, whom know all the locals, and do a grand job.
But my my, what has happened to the pharmacist side of things, before these people took over, things were going very smoothly.
But now you get different boxes with the same tablets in(this will confuse allot of elderly patients)
or not your full prescription, as the tablets are not in yet, (we will send them on later).
We did not get this with the previous owners, so what has happened now. Has it got too big to quickly.
Trying to run before they can walk.
I’ve been with this pharmacy a year now and I’ve always had good experiences. Friendly, helpful staff. Keep up the good work Davies.
very upsetting by the unprofessional rude pharmacist. I had medicaton missing he would not believe me considerng I told hm what was mssing. Tried blaming me, explained I work for CQC and knew what I was talking about, had to go back in for him to correct his mistake no apology given. Needs more customer training.

I attended for my covid booster jab which I had pre booked online. The pharmacy took no notice concerning the time of my appointment ( although it should have been logged on their system) and people who were walking in to the pharmacy , were prioritised over booked patients. What sort a system is that ?
As to your response. to my review. The wait time was far long than 5 minutes as I was put to the back of the queue of 5 people that had walked in whilst I had been waiting for the vaccinator to get back from lunch ( which incidentally was the time my vaccine had been booked for ). When I said to him I had booked an appointment, he took no notice. I took myself to another local chemist and had a far better experience, which was far more professional in their approach altogether.
Friendly staff to greet, lovely calm & professional area where vaccine was given and nice simple idea of putting a sticker on each patient to show when 15min waiting had expired and we could leave. The only downside is that it was a chilly day, so cool waiting to go in for vaccine and room where we waited to leave was also cool. This was not fault of the staff as am guessing they had to ensure there was lots of fresh air. All round, a very pleasant experience. A big thank you to everyone involved.
