I called out Autotec to recover and repair my car after a crash and they made a very stressful experience so much better. They were absolutely fantastic, extremely efficient and I would not hesitate to recommend them. The lady on reception was absolutely lovely as was the mechanic. Took my car in for a diagnostic check and repair. I was kept informed of cost of parts and timescales. Absolutely first class service from reception to collection. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.
Took motorhome in for Webasto warranty repair, after over 3 weeks and13 phone calls later still not complete, so collected van and brought home without work being completed

Arrived to ask about getting an electric technician to install a new head unit in my car but the nice lady on the reception said it would be 2 weeks before anyone could get back to me. I left my details but no one did. I went to Adams autos instead and he was fast and efficient!
Identified the problem with my vehicle battery losing charge quickly & gave excellent feedback & info on what was at the root of it.
My van broke down on a Thursday and I had it recovered to David peel garage. They told me they would look at it on the following Tuesday but looked at it on the Thursday after numerous calls chasing them up. I was told timing belt had gone so it was a strip and rebuild engine approx £3500. I had warranty cover who agreed to pay for the works. Initially the garage agreed to deal with the warranty company but I had to pay for the works and reclaim from the warranty company. I reluctantly agreed as I needed my van for work. 1 week later they told me they wouldn't deal with the warranty company because they wanted too many photos?. They had the van for 2 weeks and I had to chase them for updates. Eventually I arranged for the van to be taken to Ford in Huddersfield. David peel tried to charge me £352 for storage?. I was furious and I was then given a bill for £132 for diagnostic. Ford have been great and are going to fit a new engine and timing belt all paid for by the warranty company. David peels treated me with an attitude of we don't care... reception were great julie and carole were polite and helpful but they get all the grief.
Although I was treated with great care and efficiency by the Electrician previously, things have changed since ! I was charged an excessive amount for a primary investigation of an electrical fault but due to the age of car the fault was not easily spotted (pre-obd reader). Despite leaving a copy of wiring diagram in car I was informed that they could not find a relay switch ! and then could not find a fault despite a bent relay pin (when I informed them where relay located). Needless to say fault has returned as there was nothing wrong with relay (from the point of a layman). I have thus wasted time and money . I am reluctant to bring car back again and waste more time and money for any further investigation ?with no guarantee that fault will be fixed.
Really helpful and friendly. My car's electrical problems were looking to be a big issue, and to make matters worse I ordered an incorrect part for the job being done, AND I had no more time to re-book the car to have the work completed later on because I was moving out of the area. Luckily one of the guys explained clearly what needed doing, so when I managed to get the correct part delivered I was able to fix it myself instead!
Really great service, and great value too as they were very understanding of the situation and didn't charge for time they spent on my car when I had provided the incorrect part. Highly recommend!
