I'm very happy with their service so far. They showed to be competent, reasonably priced, and, above all, very honest. I have some experience with cars and can say that they never took advantage but carried out only repairs which were actually necessary. Highly recommended.
I've had an annoying rattling noise in my car for a while. I had it at two other garages, which I will not name, and they couldn't find what it was even after servicing and MOT's! I took it to Dave Reid motors and they found it first time, ordered the part and fixed it the next week. Very reasonable price and the noise has completely gone. First class service, I will use them from now on.

I have to be clear that the work done on my car was of a very good quality and standard. So credit to the mechanics that worked on it. The reason for the 2 stars is the management and how the garage is run. Basically put my car in for what should have been a simple repair and they added arms and legs onto it along with doing the extra work replacing parts without informing me or providing a quote. Then the owner / manager got argumentative when I quizzed him. Not releasing I have a lot of experience as my background is in mechanics and engineering he lied through his teeth to me about why parts not related to the original problem required replacing. Finally claimed they weee worn but refused to show me the old parts.
Used this garage several time now and I always get a great service. The messages are answered on fb very quickly, the staff friendly, my car has been fit in at short notice and the prices are fair. Will continue to use.
Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Fair price for the work carried out. Would definitely take my car here again!
