My Toyota Vellfire needed a rear fog light installed to pass its MOT for driving on UK roads. DSM Auto Electrical was recommended as the place to go and so I did. It was an efficient service with very helpful and polite staff.
Booked my girls 208 in for diag for airbag light. Guys found faulty connection and resolved. Honest and talked through follow up if connection causes future issues. Highly recommend, very reasonably priced.
Had a electrical problem with my sons car which failed its MOT.

Excellent service. The team came up with a great solution to a pretty difficult electrical problem. This was executed with what demonstrated both a deep knowledge of the trade and a wide ranging skill set. I would definitely use this service again to help keep my beloved old roadster on the road. Very helpful and friendly service too.
Excellent service as usual. Quoted £311 by local main dealer to sort a faulty high level brake light, DSM properly diagnosed (rather than throwing parts and money at) and rectified the issue quickly and at a fraction of the cost.
I’ve used them before and have always been delighted with the value and service.
Avoid! Took car in to be examined for warning lights being on. “Repair” made at cost of £225. Drive away and lights appeared on again. Took it back to be looked at and was charged again for diagnostic. Unable to make “repairs” this time around. When challenged I was told they were charging diagnostic again as different fault codes had appeared. So over £270 spent on absolutely nothing. Advised to go to Citroen, which I regret I didn’t do in the first instance.
Absolutely robbed my parents blind. Failed both cars MOTs on things not even part of an MOT. I am a mechanic myself and after reading the bill I was left in utter shock. Blatant con artists. They were charging 500 pounds in labor despite not even starting any work yet. They charged more than three times the price for parts needed as I can check the trade prices myself.
Don't know who they paid for the other reviews. I have been a mechanic for over a decade now and never have I come across a more blatant thief.
Avoid at all costs. They will rob you without a doubt. They also told my dad his car was a write off (didn't even give a clear reason) and then tried to buy it from him.
The guys working there are all very friendly but then you would be when you know you are stealing from people. The other reviews seem to be gullible people who have been robbed and left feeling happy about it.
Had front coil spring replaced in our 2016 Vitara. DSM managed to source the part when other garages couldn't.
Not only that, they beat the quote from the dealership by a substantial amount.
