Best KPortal Reviews

The male staff (pharmacist) are so rude and aggressive, and have no people or customer service skills. They feel they can talk down to women and abuse them.
I have had the displeasure of dealing with a man named Kushel in this chemist when I simply asked for a prescription to be sent to another chemist closer to a hospital, which was advised by my doctors surgery as I was at the hospital.
I have several health issues and was very ill around the Christmas period and Kushel started shouting at me and said he is going to refuse my prescriptions from now on. I am reporting him to the NHS.
Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. They were good. Still pharmacy, though, they don't give out candy.
Two items on the shelf, one priced twice the amount of the other. I asked the difference, pharmacist said it's the new packaging. I asked to buy the old packaging at the old price. I can't do that he said, although he could have, since the till rang up the lower price. I asked, so the double price is just because of new packaging?! Yes, he said. Nice. So, one customer, lost. Not my community pharmacy then, or at least of any kind of community I'd want to be a part of. Shame.
April 2024. IGNORE THE WHINGERS
I recall a chemist's in Hampstead, some years ago, which had a "rash" of whiners and complainers.
These customers (I will not call them people) totally self-absorbed DID NOT NOTICE the BLACK ARMBANDS worn by most of the staff who were in mourning for the loss of a beloved colleague.
Why should they notice? It's not their problem. They are UNWELL NOW!! and demand service THEIR WAY.
We all have our good and bad days. When feeling unwell (often the reason to visit a chemist) we may not be at our best.
But, assuming a modicum of sanity, when have you ever known shouting, spitting or being rude to have a positive effect on a shop worker, doctor, taxi driver, policeman or a chemist?
A little patience and a kind word can go a long way. Invariably the GP's "Automatic system" has faltered. Not the GP's fault. Certainly not the Chemist's. Nor the "front line" staff at the surgery or at the Chemist's shop.
We are a country that appears to be very vocal when things go wrong. But, almost silent when things go right. That's partly because we "expect". We "expect" that we will get good service despite things that may have gone wrong. We "expect" to be able to ignore other people's feelings if we haven't got what we want. Is this what your parents taught you? ...that behaving like a petulant child will get you what you want?
My experiences over the years at DH Roberts have been that of a customer. Politely greeted with a smile. I return the same.
I always thank them and wish them well because that is the sort of society and world I like to live in.
These are REAL PEOPLE who work very hard. Yet, have a genuine happy, pleasant, caring way about them.
There's a Lancashire lass who is just a lovely ray of sunshine. Another (is it ok to say pretty these days?) pretty girl is more shy but wonderfully helpful and efficient.
The men are nice, solicitous and courteous (but not as pretty????)
My wise grandmother used to say "treat others as you would like to be treated". An adage that, in my experience, bares fruit.
Great pharmacy, been picking up presriptions there for about 4 months and no issues whatsoever. Friendly staff, have seen them be very patient and professional with customers who are being slow or a bit of a pain.
I've used this pharmacy for more than 6 years. The chemist is usually indifferent but not unpleasant but this occasion I was rudely asked to present a NHS number then asked to go back to the GP to verify a prescription that was sent electronically. He then asked me to spell out my last name which was already clearly written on the piece of paper with my DOB. To my astonishment he asked me if I usually pay for my prescriptions. I was too weak to even respond. Promptly paid for my items and left. Seriously reconsider using this chemist again. I don't like being unwell and it rarely happens but when I am unwell and unable to speak clearly, I don't expect healthcare professionals to be so unprofessional.
Opening my prescription, I noticed one capsule was opened.
Upon reading additional comments. I recognize that there is a definite behavioural pattern that is unacceptable.
I'll be reporting this incident further.
Unpleasant, rude pharmacist
I've been going to this pharmacy for a number of years and up until now have mostly had positive experiences. But recently I've had a very unpleasant negative experience with a particular pharmacist. He was very unhelpful and sent me back and forth to the doctor, promised to set aside some medication for me and then gave it to another patient.
He rudely talked to me across the room, he went against current department of health guidelines, and dismissed me in a rude manner. Looking at the other reviews here I can see this is not an isolated incident unfortunately.
It's a shame because some of the other pharmacists I've dealt with have been great, as our the ladies behind the counter. But I'm afraid i will now be going elsewhere.
I don’t usually write reviews online, especially negative.
However I had attempted to retrieve an emergency prescription from this chemist and the man stated he was locked out of the 111 system and therefore cannot give me my prescription, he was very unhelpful and could only tell me to call 111 again to try find another nearby pharmacy.
