We went there for a drink and it was really lovely. Apparently it is one of the oldest bars in Tynemouth but newly renovated. It looks really good and the have a great selection of different drinks and beers. The toilets are also new and well kept. I can definitely recommend Cumberlands Arms Tynemouth for a drink.

Ordered Beef Stottie, fresh and the homemade Roasties were delicious
Apple Crumble dessert was one of the nicest Ive had.
Well we love what they have done with the place! The food and the beer was very good indeed!
I remember going before the refit and it was a real spit and sawdust boozer! Now the place is clean, fresh with great lighting and seating and has a real cosy feel.
Nice meal out and pleased that they do Beavertown! Good selection of bar snacks!

Had a booking for 7 for a birthday, was pleased to see a gluten free menu as one of the party has intolerances. Very busy pub would definitely be back.
Was fine last time but the food came with side salad which we asked without, the lady said she would make a FRESH one but it was the same one but without salad (still had butter on) and she’d went against her word.
If I’d eaten this I would have had allergic reaction and I will be reporting this to the FSA
A great bar this was the first time we have been in since it has been refurbished. It's now more like a trendy wine bar with plenty of seating although the top bar has gone the lower bar has been extended so it doesn't seem to effect the service
Great service yesterday.
Ordered handout chips when they came a drink was accidentally split which landed on the chips. The drink was spilt by us on the table one of the staff came straight over took the chips and replaced them. Such great customer service
Been ages since ive been in but just feels too modern, everywhere in Tynemouth is trying to be like Allards which isnt a good thing. Looks like an old traditional pub from outside then loses it inside. I didnt really like the decor and the Guinness wasnt the best. Shame but may return and if it feels better ill amend this without hesitation
