Amazing cottage in a very quiet area of Inverness. This one bedroomed cottage was a gem of a find. Beautifully decorated and furnished yo a very high standard. The hosts were so helpful they stayed over the court yard but never bothered you however were there if you needed anything or any advise on where to spend time ar local beauty spots. We were also given a very lovely welcone hamper that was certainly nonot xpected. |Highly recommend and will definately be going back
I can't recommend this B&B highly enough, from stepping into the property until leaving the experience was second to none. Jean and Tommy the owners of the B&B were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. They recommended places to eat and to visit. The property was first class, our room bathroom were spacious. The house was spotlessly clean and the cooked breakfast excellent. ||Thank you Jean and Tommy and we will definitely stay with you again, when staying in Inverness.
I would so recommend a stay at Culcabock House with Jean and Tommy. They are such friendly hosts. We stayed in the double room in the converted garage with an adjoining bathroom, it was a great room, really clean and beautifully decorated, very powerful shower, very comfy bed, and lovely little extras like fresh milk, tea and coffee, biscuits and freshly picked plums from their beautiful garden. Easy parking right outside the room, off the road. They gave us lots of local knowledge and ideas for what to do in the area as well. Breakfast was delicious, fresh fruit, yoghurt, a range of cereals, and a delicious cooked breakfast as well - no one goes hungry when you stay with Jean and Tommy - they are the dream team. We even left with a bag of plums from their garden to take home and some sweet pea clippings, they really do go the extra mile. Thank you for having us!
The bedrooms are very comfortable and spacious. The breakfasts and facilities are first class. Tommy and Jean looked after us well and gave us lots of advice about places to visit and where to eat. The number 4 bus, which stops just across the road from the B&B, goes into the city centre so is very convenient. It stops near the Eastgate centre, which is close to the bus and train stations. There is plenty of parking at the B&B if you arrive by car.
Lovely B&B. My room was large with a sparkling en-suite and I was made to feel at home straight away. Couldn't have asked for lovelier hosts - I was in Inverness for a job interview and Jean & Tommy spent a lot of time trying to calm my nerves! Very helpful in suggesting places to eat at and visit. Breakfast was delicious and there was a range of options to choose from. I'd recommend Culcabock to anyone.
A great welcome awaited us on arrival from the Outer Hebrides. The room was very private and contained a huge comfortable bed plus a great shower in the en-suite. Breakfast was really good with the hosts being very friendly and helpful. Would certainly stay again if passing through this area.
I've just returned from a short stay at Culcabock House B&B in Inverness. The hosts, Jean and Tommy, are such nice people and they run an excellent establishment. The quality of the accommodation was first class and the breakfast prepared by Jean was everything you would wish for. For my part the location of Culcabock House was exactly what I needed - no distance at all from the A9 and a mere 100 yeards from Inverness Golf Club. With four rooms available, this would be a superb place for a small group of golfers to stay. I visit Inverness fairly regularly, and will certainly return to Culcabock House.
Great place to rest and relax. Host are very accommodating. TV, WiFi and excellent parking. Rooms are large , clean , comfortable and warm. Good size shower and toilet. Very good choice if breakfast. Definitely coming back.
