Well what can I say, Only men's toilet working had go threw the bar which packed, ordered lamb shank which fell of the bone,mash was hard and very hot, had to wait 10mins for it to cool down, the two girls that where on were brilliant, as for value for money I think it was priced to much. There where other things on the menu but basic pub food. It's not for me sorry...

Amazing food and lovely staff but the service was exceptionally slow, need too hire more staff. 40 min wait before our order was taken, no return visit I'm afraid.

Food was lovely, no complaints. I can see why there could be issues with the speed of service as the place isn't huge and not a lot of staff but for me it was quick enough.

Waiting staff were great, ordered 2 rib eyed steaks, they came out and resembled gammon steaks, very thin and grey, very undercooked, the peppercorn sauce was congealed like jelly, was not nice tasting atall.

There was also a chicken burger and sunday roast which were fine, i did eat my steak as i was starving, but definitely worst steak dinner ive had.

We wont be back.

Steaks and lamb shanks were delicious. Reservations are recommended.

Excellent quality meat. We had camember wedges and haggis bon bons. Followed by sirloin steak, decent cut of meat, little fat. Best steak ever. Friendly service, clean countryside style restaurant. Beautiful scenery. We will definitely be back.

We had a surprisingly fantastic dinner here! The staff was seriously so nice and took great care of our little family. The food was much better than I’ve come to expect from pub fare, and they seem to really care about the dishes leaving the kitchen. Definitely worth the stop and so conveniently located.
