This is my local, and he did me really dirty today! I’ve probably had two chip out of this bag and this is what I got for £2.30 ????? WHERE IS THE REST OF IT ??? Will not be going back.
Just a couple of suggestions for the owner. The food was okay, chips were good but cod was an old fry, you can’t serve customers that sort of quality they won’t come back. Also the interior has room for seating but none is available, if you want to encourage guests get your seating back in order, it will drive you up business up at the very minimum 25%. I hope to revisit this in the future and see improvements.
Ordered cod and chips. The fish was fresher fried. The chips were so delicious. Well worth the wait. Customer service is meh but as long as the food is great then I can’t complain. 5 stars for the delicious food
Do you want instant and severe diarrhea. Eat here! OR RUN AS FAST AS POSSIBLE FROM THIS PLACE!!! By the way,i ordered cod,but as far as I know cod has normally not served with skin on....that was the large cod looked like a junior portion...
Fish and chips cooked on demand very tasty so delicious fried chicken and various burgers have a good place to get food from here.
I'm not very happy about this place. Usually, I'll buy chips at lunchtime, which are generally a standard 6. However, last night (friday) I got fish and chips. They do not accept cards. It was the nastiest cod I've tasted. Rock hard batter, slimey fish. The chips were like bullets. Total cardboard. Disgusting. The service was below par. I should have taken it back, but I had already got home. The owner is quite arrogant tbh. Palace needs a decent fish and chip shop. This is not the one.
It's fish, chips, pies, mushy peas, fried chicken, and sausages all at reasonable prices. The service is fine, and the food is exactly what I want from a chippy.
Charges for using card and the portions are tiny. The chips did not look fresh at all. I would avoid.
