Worst GP Practice I’ve ever had to deal with. We were recently patients at Millhill Surgery in Dunfermline but due to moving house, had to move to Crossgates Medical Practice. The service is so poor compared to Millhill who were brilliant.
There are only a couple of pleasant receptionist staff, one in particular has a vile attitude. Such a bad set up for prescriptions (thankfully the chemist staff are lovely). We’ve had a total nightmare with them trying to get our medical records from previous surgery. I needed a letter from GP to confirm a condition I have and had to chase this up multiple times - they then had the cheek to charge £20 for it. I’ve yet to attempt to make an appointment but based on everything I’ve read and the interactions I’ve had with them, I am dreading it! You have to go with the online form service like other practices have. This whole phoning up at 8am, having to ring 100 times is just a joke.
Seriously considering changing doctors surgery.

I called over 100 times to try and get through to someone to only then be told it was too late and I couldn't get an appointment or a call back that day and would have to try again tomorrow, then had the phone put down on me.
Tried calling to make an appointment for my 1 year older daughter and missed the call back due to not being allowed my phone on me at my work and they said as I didn't answer the phone I must not have wanted to talk to them anymor, when I tried to call them back the surgery was then closed.
The service they are providing is absolutely shocking.
Absolutely shocking service, my mother has cancer every month the practice make a mistake on her prescription. This morning after attempting to get through on the phone for 45 minutes the reception then said she could not get a prescription for pain killers as all the doctors were busy. I then had to phone up and threaten to call our local mp and local papers to get the prescription put through.
The Receptionist who i think most complaints make reference too has to have one of the worst customer service attitudes I've ever seen. She has on numerous occasions laid blame on the chemist next door. The practice manager is nothing short of monstrous in her dealing with queries/complaints almost borderline lying in order to shift blame from the practise back of house staff. Barr one doctor the rest are lovely. If it wasn't the for travelling I would have moved practice a long time ago. Please if you are even considering registering here and read and of the reviews take serious note to the negative ones as they are true.

Cant get appointments , can’t get check ups what’s the point they’ll only make mistake or forget .
One receptionist is not friendly at all and I've caught rolling her eyes at me like I'm an inconvenience. Wait times are usually ridiculous and trying to get an appointment, not that I go very often, but I've been on the phone for over half an hour constantly ringing. Docs are ok but not the best bedside manners.
What can I say there is never an appointment available even if you book 6 weeks in advance, you can't order a prescription over the phone you have to go into the surgery to order it, unfortunately that's not always possible to do if you work the same hour that the surgery is open as a result of this my son was unable to continue with the medication he needed. I don't find the staff very helpful or friendly and I certainly wouldn't recommend this surgery to anyone.
