The coffee is nice…good quality and strong. Staff are always bubbly and friendly. The decor is trendy.
The price is the price, people will always moan but the overheads these days I can imagine are extortionate, it’s not like the owner has 4 Ferrari’s parked outside.
IMO the coffees need to be bigger, took about 3 sucks of a straw to dispatch my latte, which was lovely nonetheless.
Music is required, it was silent when we walked in and unless we spoke the silence continued. Would massively help with atmosphere.
I didn't have coffee, I ordered tea. It was advertised as £3.95 for, 2 cups- that was what we paid. I assumed this would be like other places, a little 2 cup teapot. Apparently though, this price is for one cup of, cold, weak tea.
I questioned why it says 2 cups on the menu. They just mumbled about before admitting there was an error on the display.
The tea itself was luke warm, weak, didn't taste of Earl Gray and frankly like dishwater.
The place looks good, the coffee grinder a good feature but noisy after a while- if you want expertise, special or fairly priced, go elsewhere. I'm sure McDonalds do a better tea for 80p.
The cakes looked nice but I was told by another customer they were stale.
There are plenty of good places to buy coffee in Uckfield, but Craft is where you enjoy and experience coffee as it should be. It is my favourite.
Freshly roasted coffee, a selection of delicious pastries and cakes, and even the Tea is served loose leaf with a twist.
Friendly staff, a gem that is worth discovering. Go on, give it a try. Highly recommended.
I go into Craft most days.Excellent place.The staff (Terri,Vicky and Ceren) are all lovely. The coffee is fresh so sometimes you need to be patient, but make no mistake this is a great place and an excellent addition to the town.
Had a decaf oat milk latte total cost £4.45. Unfortunately, it wasn't particularly hot and in a small cup.
We like to support small businesses, but sadly probably wouldn't visit again.
The atmosphere was lovely and the roaster was a lovely touch and the smell was lush.
Brilliant coffee, friendly and welcoming staff and great service! This is the best cafe in Uckfield, definitely give this one a try! Lovely atmosphere and plenty of seating available as well. 10/10 thank you Craft for having us! ☕️ ????
I watched Carla Sturt being served a very poor and extremely overpriced cup of Earl Grey tea priced at £3.95. I saw the process:- hot water was poured over the filter into a glass receptacle it took a long time to filter the result was transferred to a rather small tea cup and presented to Carla with a small jug of cold milk (I would not add milk) once some of the milk was mixed, the opaque result did not resemble anything I had seen before. Poor show! To be fair I find the coffee very enjoyable and at a price that you can expect in today’s climate, and the only toilet needs some serious renovation work.
We like to support local businesses and went on the open week, received poor service and was ignored when enquiring about rewards scheme. We decided to try again a year later, the cafe was empty and we weren’t even greeted, instead the lady was looking up at the ceiling. My friend and I paid together, and when I asked how much the drinks were each she just responded ‘yes’. Iced coffee was warm with little ice. Will be getting our daily coffee elsewhere.
