I’m new to the area and this is the closest chippie short of driving to Gilesgate
Went in Saturday 1815 nothing on display and no customers fish was fresh and not bad but the chips were clearly very old your talking hours maybe even warm ups, as an ex chef I can tell
Very disappointed I won’t be back
Do what I am doing look further afield
Omg I dnt usually leave a bad review but avoid at all costs been hear tonight and will never go again fish wasn't cooked n batter still raw in parts chips wel they were something els think they was from 3 days ago n refried total waist of money as all went in bin
Enjoyed the fish & chips and battered sausage. Good portion and freshly made to order. Kids loved the nuggets. Good service and will come again.
Excellent fish and chips, glad we only bought small as that was huge
Service lady was lovely to speak to but the food is just ok, nothing great about it. Just provides an option if you need something in the small town of Coxhoe.
Just been to this fish and chip shop omg first and last was absolutely disgusting cold chips were the worst we have ever had .all went in the bin trust me go else where Save ya money
Lovely fish n chips
Fish and chips and a fish £10.70. Opted for large chips. Couldn't eat them. Dry shrivelled up awful. The fish is so greasy,stuck to the paper and tasted awful. We left most of them. Total waste of money. Wont be recommending or returning.
