FANTASTIC experience from start to finish, I enquired about a mini service on my BMW 1 series and Nicky kindly got me booked in within a week. Dropped my car off at 1pm today and received a message at 4pm saying it had all been done and was ready to collect. I expected it to be in a lot longer but I was pleasantly surprised. I went round to reception to pay and pick the keys up and the mechanic came through from the workshop, explained to me everything that had been done on my car and gave me a service book, can’t beat the old fashioned way of doing things! I will definitely be back, and always want to support local businesses especially when they are family run and as polite and informative as this garage. Thanks again, I will be recommending you to family and friends.
They took great care of my Classic VW. I asked them to modify my pickup truck, which they did a great good with. I couldn't recommend this place anymore. Highly rated!

Absolute joke of a garage have your car for 3 months, refuse to work on it. Bottom tier customer service, provide no information to you as the paying customer unless you ring up 3 times a week. Proper cowboys avoid at all costs.
Absolutely brilliant. Our camper started making a horrible noise while away in the lakes we popped in to see if anyone could check it over for us and identify the problem. They were able to identify the problem quickly and although unable to fix it for us due to time they were able to advise us on how likely we were to be able to complete our holiday before needing the work done.

Similar experience to 2 previous reviewers. Had been on holiday and warning lights on my VW dashboard appeared. Cowperthwaites were the only local garage willing to even have a look and I was able to drop the car off with them. Fault diagnosed but as I was unable to leave the car with them due to my commitments, they advised of required work and immediate options. They’ve even followed up with a phone call to see how I’ve got on. Family run business – would very happily recommend.
We are not local but have used this garage twice - both times in an emergency. On both occasions they have been fantastic and dealt with our issue quickly, professionally and economically. Couldn’t ask for more.
