Best fish (chips were tasty) that I've ever had, and we've had fish and chips twice at 'the shed' at Porthgain by the Blue lagoon Pembroke, YOUR fish and batter was much better, first class, not greasy or slimy in the slightest, batter was the best! lovely crumbly clean tasting fish! Well done, Thank you guys ???? picture doesn't do it justice ????????
Usually very nice well cooked food. Went in lunchtime a couple of weeks ago the tasted a lot better than it looked.
The chips were shocking, just leftover, dried up waste that looked and tasted like they should've been binned before they opened. Out of a large bag we probably found 10 edible chips.
So disappointed. We paid £12 for two pieces of fish that were inedible!! All batter, that was brown, and a tiny bit of thin fish. Chips were OK. Easy changes to make, but improvement needed.
By far the best chippy I’ve had in a long time! Well worth the visit! An option for everyone, amazing service & owned by the most kindest young lad! Definitely makes a difference to Dolgellau!!
Fresh fish and chips !!! Very good price ???????? we ordered cod, size of cod is good enough for one person. Curry sauce is good! Staff are very friendly ???????? we really enjoyed fish and chips with curry sauce. Not spicy curry very good with Chips and cod.
Under average Fish and Chips. Chips looked and tasted that they've been fried 2 or 3 times and in dirty/old cooking oil. Will probably go further a field next time into Barmouth for a fish and chip supper. Disappointing really and hope for the town that they improve the quality soon.
We found this fish & Chip shop using Google so wanted to thank Google a& to post a great review for the Cosy Takeaway in Dolgellau. We had 'fish chips and mushy peas. Freshly cooked, piping hot, generous portions and excellent quality. Highly recommended. Thanks. x

Awful chippy! One of the worst I've had. Chips were so dry and tasteless, like they had been sat since lunch time!! The fish was so overcooked, the batter was disgusting! Such a shame, this chippy used be be great. Even the sausages weren't nice....how can you get them wrong? What a waste of 32 pound!!!
