I placed my order through the app to pick up in 5 - 8 mins. I ordered a large hot chocolate with whole milk and a cheese & tomato toastie. When I arrived it had just been done. The toastie was the best I've ever had from a Costa. The bottom slice of bread had not been ignored unlike other stores where the bottom slice is basically white bread. It was piping hot and the tastiest takeaway toastie I have had in a long time. The hot chocolate was perfect too.
The staff were friendly and there was a steady flow of customers. Would definitely recommend and I will use again if I'm back at the hospital.
We arrived at the hospital feeling nervous due to our appointment but we had a nice coffee here. It was delicious and very creamy. It was a nice solace from the scary hospital appointment and I appreciated the staff here who were more than helpful to us.
It’s a shame there’s one or two individuals at this Costa that have forgotten how to interact with the public. Some of the jokes being made behind the counter are very questionable. It’s such a shame as I’m sure I won’t be the only one that has faced the attitude from staff.
I am a regular weekend visitor at KGH costa. Found some weekend staff disinterested and unprofessional and didn't look too happy with their job. Don't see many smiling / welcoming faces Not sure if they are stressed / overstretched and understaffed ?? They are almost always short of full cream milk over weekends ( not everyone like skimmed milk coffee) and on asking staff to give feedback to management - one staff started arguing with me defending the shortage and management placing orders as per their assessment etc etc !!!. Tried to explain that it is not her fault- and just need to feedback to management. I felt she has no understanding of how organizations are managed and a fellow customer suggested writing a feedback on the website, hence the review. Improved staff training and stocking up on supplies over weekend would definitely result in a more positive customer experience.
Needed a coffee, as hospital served drinks were not great. Coffee was had. Handy being near ward..
Very busy cafeteria with limited space, Ground floor, just inside hospitals main entrance. Not alot of room for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Hence only 4 stars. Limited food available, mainly sandwiches, cakes.
Costa in the old wrvs shop in the main entrance to kettering GENERAL HOSPITAL serving the usual costa pre-packaged snacks and fair this unit caters for both patient's visitors and staff a fair size seating area inside but can be busy at times
Selling bottled water and fresh fruit from a dedicated display and cooler stand within the main counter area
Costa coffee and a side of MRSA. Such a dirty flithy place with rude staff. Sat in for over an hour as it was raining and waiting for my dad. Didn’t see a cloth near a table once. Staff not engaging with customers at all. Will not be returning
