The food was OK. They should use cutting boards instead of cutting tomatoes on the units. And they should read about natashas law they had no allergen labels on their wrapped could rolls
It hit the spot.
I got the chicken, haggis and peppercorn pie as well as the stake & haggis pie. Both were delicious. Great meat to sauce ratio, not dry at all.
The pies are cold but the girl heated them up for me. I think it was heated up in a microwave oven and so my expectations were low but still turned out great. The pastry wasn’t too greasy or floppy, it still had a good crisp to the top rim.
I’m glad I went there rather than Greggs.
Cold drinks in the fridge. I wanted a bottle of Irn-bru but they were still in the package at the side so I got a cold can instead.
There’s a wide selection on the menu with good fast service. Excellent.
Ordered a Cajun chicken baguette, was 3 small bits of chicken in sweet chilli sauce(?) And mayo, filled with what tasted like a whole red onion and lettuce. Horrible soft baguette that just fell apart when I took it out of the packaging. In the bin after one bite, rank.
Breakfast was nice. The sit in area floor was dirty to many bright lights in the sit in area. Better seating is needed and a more modern look. I heard 2 regular woman saying they haven't seen few woman that come in daily not seen for ages as they have been going to a different cafe in whitburn.
Although the cafe part is currently closed they are still doing takeaway each day. Food is great. Good value for money and the staff are always so cheerful and helpful no matter what time you are there. Thoroughly recommend them.
Just got two (SO CALLED) mince pies. For £2.90 I would have thought two steak pies would have been in order. Will NEVER be back.

Use regularly. The girls are all great and go out of their way to be helpful. Thats what makes the shop.
