Dog friendly and the dumplings were super fresh, really enjoyed them. Mum got the lentil soup and said it was super tasty. As a vegetarian I rlly recommend the dumplings
Excellent service, friendly and polite, no issues there but If you are going to call yourself Coffee Bank, then I think you owe it to the public to train your staff correctly. The machine is top notch so it's just the training that is wanting here. In short, I was hoping for a decent coffee. Too hot, too large for my tastes (had to ask for a smaller cup) and above all very poorly prepared with far too much foam. If you are a fan of foamy "Starbucks" type Cappuccino then this is for you, otherwise you will be sorely disappointed. I also had a Marble Cake......another very bland, although enormous, offering, far too dry and way too massive to eat unless you are famished! Hard to recommend, which is a pity. Maybe their cooked breakfast is better as the menu for food looked pretty good, but if you are simply here for a coffee and a sit down. There are better elsewhere. In addition. Too expensive for what they offer. £8 for a small cappuccino and cake is pushing it. Maybe that's why the cake was so big?
3 stars is not bad. Atmosphere and service were great. The food though was not. Had the full english, hashbrown had a bright yellow colour and it didn’t taste fresh. Portions of the full english was small for the price, I had to get some crisps at the pub near by. The coffee was good size but OK in taste. Solid 3 star.
Beautifully creamy Cappuccino, delivered with delightful customer service & a very convenient location on East Finchley High Road.
This coffee shop offers a wonderful collection of coffees, with different selections of milk & also edibles.
A lot bigger than first imagined looking from the outside, has plenty of indoor seating and a wonderful section outside.
5* Would recommend on overall experience ????????
Went in on their first day and was not disappointed! Amazing coffee - best in East Finchley now! And the vegan blueberry cake was a delicious surprise ????
Originally, the place is a bank but last May it transformed into a cafe, which gave the inspiration of their name: Coffee Bank.

Seating: They have about 30 seats inside with square tables and chairs, sofas and bar stools. And they have outdoor seats.
Charging Spots: Yes
Bathroom: One for Unisex
Ambience: Located in the high street, it is busy, especially lunch time, and if you sit in the outdoor area, you can feel the bustling atmosphete. The interior design is very rustic with combination of timbers and old style furniture. Many laptoppers work here.
Staff Friendliness: Very enthusiastic, friendly and efficient.
Cost:
Coffee £1.8-£2.9
Tea £2.15-£3.1
Sandwiches £5.5-£6.5
Pastries £1.8-£3.0
Something Special About the Cafe:
(1) The internet speed is amazing.
(2) Their food are handmade by themselves and can be pre-ordered in Deliveroo.
Problems:
The glass window is not big and there is a timber fence in the front of the window, which is the outdoor seating area, so the natural light is kind of blocked.
Nice, artisan caffè latte. The food was okay but the portion was slightly smaller than other brunch places at similar prices in the neighbourhood.
I’ve been here a few times and it’s great. Loose leaf tea and nice fresh food.
My only criticism is the table layout and atmosphere.
Despite Coffee Bank having better food and drink, I find myself favouring nearby Caffè Nero because they have more comfy seats, better layout and nicer atmosphere that makes me want to stay longer and order more.
I hope the owners consider re-thinking it because it’s not right that Caffè Nero is always full and Coffee Bank always empty (that I’ve seen)
