Working with a colleague. And had passed the Chippy a few times during the night. As we were both hungry and ahead of schedule. We called in for a small portion of chips to share. Very quick and friendly service. The chips were cooked just right with the right amount of Salt and Vinegar. First time visiting this chippy would definitely recommend, and I will be back.

Friendly helpful ladies on the counter serving, proper ‘chippy’ chips and the battered sausage was lovely too. A nice treat for us as part of a mini break in the area, would certainly return (very reasonably priced too).
Called by tonight for 2 x small fish & chip with potato scallops. I have never been able to eat temperature hot food, and often have to wait before I eat to allow it to cool, but not tonight. I was able to pick up the food and eat straight away finishing for the first time. The food was barely tepid. Small fish was dry & overcooked. I ate it because I was hungry, but have found that this shop has very much gone off the boil the last couple of years. Maybe they have changed hands, I don’t know, but do know it’s unlikely I will buy from them again. Just hope I don’t get a bad reaction from eating non hot food.

Absolutely fantastic was passing and got some chips and sausage they where the best chips I have had in a good while. Beautiful views and great chips can't moan at all
