Phoned Clarky on Friday at 11am, car dropped at 1.30 and fixed by 10am Monday! New calipers, brake pads, etc fitted and much lower price than expected. Amazing service, highly recommended, total trust. THANKYOU!
Super chill chap, big car enthusiast, if you like your motors you'll find some interesting stuff to talk about, if you haven't got a clue about cars you still won't feel pressured here, having worked in the motor trade for 10 years I've seen all sorts of corrupt stuff but atleast from my one visit it seemed a very honest, laid back, and non pressured experience, I had an abs light on, a bolt has been snapped in previous work allowing the sensor to not be seated correctly, most dealers would likely wham the price of diagnostic charge on, fault find, and a new sensor etc, however here he just cleaned up the sensor, extracted the snapped studand replaced it with new, light extinguished ????
Definitely worth a trip if you are unsure who to visit for mechanical work.
I went to Clarkys Autos last week after my window regulator gave up the ghost. The window wouldn't close at all and Clarky helped me out that day he managed to remove the old regulator, which wasn't an easy job. He got the window secured temporarily until he could fix it today for me. He fitted me in today even tho he was fully booked up, he went above and beyond to help get it sorted for me. I can't thank him enough for what he did for me. His service was excellent and the job was done in good time. The cost of repairing it was outstanding I would not have got this cheaper anywhere else. Absolutely first class service, I'd highly recommend this garage and I will certainly be going back should I ever need too. Cheers Clarky. Mark
Clarky is one of the old school mechanics, honest, hard working and reasonable prices, mixed in with incredible knowledge (and ability to work in the cold).
Highly recommend him to any of you, a real gem.

Brilliant , Clarky got us two new batteries for our van in about an hour and a half and fitted them.Which was great as we were going on holiday the next day.Clarky knows so much about cars and is always fair.
It's that garage you don't wanna tell anyone else about cause then they'll get so popular you won't get an appointment as fast.
But seriously, amazing garage. Broke my car Tuesday, by Friday it was all fixed and my eyes weren't watering from the cost. Have been back, and will go back again
