Absolutely delicious breakfast had by all. Busy but not a long wait for food. Good drinks. Lovely staff. Didn’t have cakes but they looked amazing and will be tempted by them at some point.
I just had home made soup leek an potato. It was lovely an not a small bowl with chose of bread or hot roll,others with me had sandwiches and pizza. Everything was great definitely going back.
I never ever leave reviews, but am compelled by a disappointing visit today having a wee day out with my daughter, Ordered 2 paninis and a plate of chips. Waited 50 minutes plus for service, and had to chase them up. several tables were seated and served before us. When food arrived it was Ok, but the chips were underdone. My daughter didn't want me to point this out, so paid and left. Really underwhelmed.
We were very disappointed by both the service and the food. We waited about 40 minutes for our food to arrive. Ordered 2 toasties - which came as cold toast with cold fillings inside, so not traditional toasties.
My husband ordered a simple breakfast - poached eggs, toast, mushroom and tomato which when ordering was told he couldn’t add beans (no idea why.) This thankfully did come hot but he had to call the waitress back and ask for condiments. My daughter ordered 1/3 cheese pizza which she enjoyed.
Despite the food taking so long there were no apologies, no checking to see if we were happy with our food, whether we needed more drinks etc.
We usually visit The Nook further down, they were full so we were hoping this would be a great alternative. Such a shame.
Fantastic breakfasts, very dog friendly. Great new place for food in West Kirby.
Wish menus and opening times were on Google tho!!!

It was coffee, hot chocolate and a slice of cheesecake in this cafe opened at 4ish. down Banks Rd. in West Kirby. Most shops we passed through where already closed and just as we were resigned to no hot drinks, we spotted this place. I loved our orders and drinks but especially the charming young servers. We got to chat to the cafe owner and he said he had just opened a few days ago and will open longer hours. I can say I did enjoy the whole experience I’ve had there and hope to drop by again some time.
Lovely little spot we visited today. Our server was super friendly, which really added to our visit. Oat milk cappuccino was superb as well as the food.
Great dog friendly place with food allergy accommodations! Had a really nice vegan pizza slice and yummy strawberry tart. Great place to come for lunch with your dog.
