Stunning views and very friendly. Good coffee and a range of quality food. The cakes & tray bakes are awesome ???? Nice range of local gifts
Indoor & outside seating. Single track road all the way round the water inlet. Great stop when road gets busy, parking with 3 car parks although small, plenty of room to park. Staff happy and friendly.
Great lunch with an incredible view. Really lovely service, was paitent when we couldn't decide and bought the food out to us in a timely manner even though there was a rush of people. We had the Brie & Cranberry and Chorizo & Cheese Paninis and a tea, really tasty and fresh. Amazing view sitting outside. Inside there is tables if the weather is bad and plenty of room. Lots of stuff in the shops and plenty of treats.
We had two brownies as we left as they looked to good (and tasted great too). Plenty of parking, accessible for anyone. Toilets were clean.
Great cake, I mean great. The carrot cake was so moist and the lemon cake was one of the best, kids had ice-cream which was good apparently. Also, the garden has a great view. Friendly staff. Great prices and some lovely local souvenirs in the tearoom too.
Only criticism, omg the toilets were gross and smelt so bad walking past them. No male and female just 2 toilets. Maybe if they were male and female the ladies wouldn't get so gross.
The host was very friendly. A wide range of items with plenty homemade, was available - all looked super yummy. Great value for money with free beautiful view. The facility was very clean as well. A great rest point for the tricky northwest stretch of NC500.
Randomly drove past this little tearoom on our way to Durness, just around lunchtime so decided to stop. A lovely little tearoom ran by a daughter and her father. An incredible selection of home made cakes and some awesome Scottish fudge that’s well worth sampling too! Highly recommended.
Visited a couple of days ago on our travels around Scotland. The view from the cafe was stunning. We had some of the coffee and cake. The options we were given was great, the owner was very kind and gave us the options of what we could do takeaway wise. I also picked up a shampoo and conditioner bar (handmade and smelled divine) which I cannot wait to try. The variety of gifts was incredible. Overall, a lovely cafe with welcoming people, lovely food and incredible gifts or a treat for yourself. Would highly recommend visiting ????.
Nice place for a quick bite to eat. Coffee isn’t the best, but there’s a nice selection of other drinks, food and cakes (I didn’t try the cakes as I’m vegan, but they looked really good). The lady behind the counter was super friendly, and even swapped out the bread rolls with brown bread for me as I said I was vegan.
Just what you need, a place to relax and have a nice cuppa, taking in the beautiful surroundings. Also sells genuine Scottish gifts, not made anywhere else, barely any road miles.
The picture is across the loch toward Ben Hope, the most northern Munro.
