I tried this Chinese takeaway for the first time last night 06/05/24 purely because of its positive reviews. I was not disappointed. This Chinese should be proud of the standard of food they are selling, also the prices are still fair. It was a refreshing change. Well done Chinese Kitchen, and I'll look forward to trying some other dishes soon.
P.s Salt and pepper chips are to die for.
Been wanting to try here for ages but won't be ordering again.
Prawn toast mediocre, tom yum soup far too thick and sweet, salt and pepper chips made with too much MSG and salt. My partner ordered a king prawn chow mein, started eating and realised it was a special so contained pork, which he does not eat for religious reasons. I called back and to be fair, they remade his dish, but when he went back to collect the manager told him it was our fault as they never make mistakes and to be clearer when ordering. As you can see in the photo, what he was originally given is a completely different dish, and why would I order something he does not eat!? Also it was about £4 more expensive than the prices shown. Disappointing
Salt and pepper chicken wings, salt and pepper prawns, chips, king prawn rice and curry ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️????????. Found my new Chinese chippy. Only been through 30 Chinese chippy to find the best one and now I have loved it all.
The best chinese takeaway i’ve ever had by far. Used this as my local one was close. Will be making this my regular choice despite it being a little further. Can not recommend this place enough! Delicious ????
Went for the first time last night. The basics were not good which ultimately means the meal wasn’t great. The noodles and chips were ok at best and the rice was awful. Looking at the tubs it looks like they buy it in ready made and microwave it. The duck was nice and the chicken was dry. We won’t be back unfortunately which is a shame as we had high hopes as it’s local.
Only average I'm afraid. Food cold within 2 minutes of walking home as chips, rice etc popped in warmer for a while whilst waiting for Chinese dishes to be cooked. Some chips hard, some soggy. Curry dish very bland. Won't be rushing back.
One of the best Chinese takeaways I have ever had including more expensive takeaway chains and restaurants in Manchester and London too. I rarely do reviews but am super impressed. Lovely flavours and textures. I don't eat meat but the rest of my family do. We were all equally happy with our food. The only suggestion I would make would be to include Tofu and other vegan options on the menu. Thank you Chinese Kitchen, We will be coming back v soon ????.
Great food, extremely well priced. Cash only but this obviously helps keep the prices down.
