The food is delicious and filling, I just think some of the item on there is overpriced, the service was a bit slow, but it was a busy day and the person serving had so many orders, which I understand.
Chichi restaurant is one of the few African restaurants around Woolwich in the South East of London.
Quite a nice place to hang out if you can navigate the parking, lovely food and nice food.
This restaurant had the biggest jumbo shrimps I have ever seen. It tasted delicious and was very filling. The jollof rice and assorted meat was also very delicious, well portioned, and definitely value for money.
Decent start. Newly opened I thought I'd give it a try. they serve all the Nigerian classics you'd expect with friendly service and a clean venue. A few things I'd improve
- music is too loud in the venue
- could make better use of space (seems almost too big)
Good start and I really want to see these guys flourish. Top quality Nigerian dining is in short supply.
Chichi's meals are top notch. Sumptuous meal and healthy.
The service is very effective and good from Chichi to all the members of staff.
Chichi's restaurant is home away from home.
I have never seen them frown. Oh the new chairs are cute.
The atmosphere is really accommodating.

Very good meals and a neat and cool restaurant serving Nigeria dishes ????????
Great clean bright seating space...everything looks good and new.
Really helpful service.
Experience fell apart at the waiting time for the food. The best African restaurants usually take their time to create the awesome food experience yes...but this was exceptional. Really hope their kitchen/chef get their act together soon.
This was hopefully a 1 off.
Food was good...Igbo style flavour and textures. Give Chichi 1 try and form your own opinion.

We had booked ahead for a large party. When we arrived there had been no arrangements for our party to sit. We placed our orders at 6pm with the celebrants daughter who decided to help out as they were taking too long to attend to us. Our food did not come out until 9pm, yes we waited a whole 3 hours and some minutes. When the food finally came out it was a big disappointment. The fish was cold and served with no plantain as they had run out and the abula was bitter and the stew was about three days old. I felt sorry for the poor waitresses as they got the flack for everything. I will not be visiting in a hurry. Downstairs where we sat also smelt like a lavatory.
