Friendly staff, quick service, super fair price!
We went for lunch and had a nice experience. The fried rice and gyoza were delicious. I will say the pad thai wasnt too memorable and maybe lacking a bit more flavour but still nice. Will comeback for sure to try other stuff on the menu.
A main and starter is 11£ ish between 12-3pm. Menu is a huge variety and decent price & you can bring your own booze. Finally an amazing Thai place local. Food was 10/10. Cute and cosy inside and very friendly. See you soon :)
We’ve been here for lunch and dinner. The menu is limited but we’ve enjoyed everything we’ve had.
Drinks are currently soft drinks but they are applying for a licence.
When they say spicy they mean spicy. Certainly for pad kee mow. Though they did say they can make things more or less spicy on request.

Hard working talented people establishing a this tasty Thai Cafe. Swift and happy service, food is tasty, well prepared, traditional home roots cooking. Excellent value.
Best authentic Thai food I have had in many years. Incredible satay, amazing prawn and chicken toast, salads, curries, even the fried rice is special with the smoky wok flavour we love.
Clearly the food is cooked with much love, and service is relaxed and friendly - just perfect.
We will come as often as we can!
Chern restaurant is the dream mix of delicious food, fabulous service and extremely affordable prices, which is so hard to find nowadays (particularly around East Dulwich). The staff there are so welcoming. We’ve dined at lunchtime as a couple and also dinner as a larger group of 9 and always had a great experience.
Gorgeous atmosphere with incredible food and just as sweet staff! Been here for both food to eat in and takeaway and always recommend. The staff are so incredibly lovely and make you feel welcome while providing the tastiest dishes! Always a go to :)
Delicious food. Swift, warm and friendly service. Exceptional value for the lunch deal. Was happy to accommodate my toddler with a child’s portion of Pad Thai. Great and much needed addition to local options on Grove Vale.
