Chaskaas, formerly Lahore Express, remains my top choice for an authentic double kebab roll. Alongside their tasty rolls, the restaurant offers a variety of other authentic South Asian dishes. The upgraded interior further adds to the overall dining experience, making it a delightful place to enjoy flavorful meals.
Nice food with good service! Their lamb curry and veg dal was so yummy! Also tried their yummy kebab! But their Mango lassi was just home like taste, not something special! Most of the time, my husband use to bring their double kebab roll which is also delicious! And it's also certified halal shop in UK.
The service a a bit slow, but the food was worth the wait. One of the best meals my family and I had at a restaurant, that didn’t break the bank, at £10 per head. Highly recommended, definitely will be going again, and on the plus side if your boycotting certain brands, they don’t sell them. My personally favourite is was Chapli Sizzler burger ????
The food was made with the best seasoning and attention to each dish to bring out the natural flavors of each types of meats and chicken dishes! All excellent and exceptional tastes and flavors, and the service was excellent with every person being very polite, professional and the restaurant and staff were very clean. We had the mix grill dish for 4 people. The lamb was so well seasoned and prepared along with the other meats as well. Will definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants to eat great food!

The food and staff are both wonderful. Price to portion is remarkable. I enjoyed the kebab wrap and steak burger. (I anticipated beef for the burger but it was a chicken patty and I was not disappointed).
Having read the reviews looked a bit promising. On this occasion the food was utter rubbish, although the food looked ok when presented but everything tasted below par. The mango lassi was anything but lassi more like tap water - so runny.
The sheikh kebab were edible just about with no flavour in the meat.
The pakora were basically bricks of dough.
Very disappointed not going to rush there anytime soon.
I first visited Chaskaas with a friend when he hadn't eaten lunch & I had. On that occasion I didn't eat much but had some seek kebabs and samosa chaat. That was enough to appreciate that this was more than decent quality food. On my way out spoke with the owners to discover that this was a family run business and that the parents did the cooking/food prep. I vowed to return with family which I have recently done to get a better idea of the food on offer.
We ordered lamb biryani, mixed grill, samosa chaat, chapli Kebab along with mango lassi. Faultless! All the food was fresh, tasty and delivered with good friendly service. Would visit again (& have for a takeaway!) recommend highly..... flying the flag for top quality Pakistani home cooked food!!!
