I get it's a small business but the food really was average. I can tell there's passion there but everything on my plate seemed like it had been brought in and heated up rather than made fresh in house. The menu said smash patties but the burger patties were just thin.
The (tiny quantity of) brisket and burger were dry, only saved by the sauce.
The chips were nice, but I was sorely disappointed after having read other reviews.
Booked a table last minute for date night based on the reviews so glad we did. The house burger and house fries were incredible and my husband said it was the best oreo shake he'd ever tasted. Will definitely be back ❤️
Cannot recommend Charlie’s enough! This is by far one of the best restaurants me & my partner go too. Portions are generous and filling, the macaroni cheese is to die for. We have never ever had a bad meal here. The decor is lovely and service attentive - never taken any photos of our food as it’s gone in 10minutes ????
Been here twice now, both times the service has been the best I have probably ever received, genuinely so friendly and helpful. The food is amazing as well, really fresh and packed with flavour, impressive to get that level around here. Would definitely recommend giving it a try!
Really good food and drink. The menu has plenty of choice of burgers and side's. My son had a milkshake which was delicious. We all had different choices of meals and all was very good. We are already planning on going back. There is parking at the back next to the beer garden.
A warm welcome and great relaxed vibes with fantastic food. All freshly cooked. The mac n cheese is a personal favourite - so cheesy and delicious! Kayleigh is great at making sure everyone is happy, even when busy. Definitely recommend.
After my last burger restaurant experience I was feeling anxious and in preparation of feeling disappointed again, however the food, staff and atmosphere was perfect and has restored my faith in gourmet burger joints
Get there early as it gets busy really quick!
Would 100% return again when next up from Cornwall and would go out of my way to travel further
