Excellent stop off for a picnic/bbq (areas marked) clean pebble beach with samd when tides out, really clean, bins available and clean large accessible toilet (only one for all) currently some works going on further round the bay so some JCB action in the distance. Clear sea and clean beaches... leave nothing but footprints is defo the motto here. 100% return again. Gorgeous location - sandhead is around 3 miles away with local shop and pub. The BEST sunset ive seen in a while ????
Lovely beach an picnic area just outside Ardwell village. Visited in mid November, very quiet. Ardwell Gardens and lake a short walk away. Public toilets available.
Nice spot to stop at, has a public loo which looks clean enough but is used by a lot of people, sign says no camping or overnight stays but by the looks of things that's ignored,

Nice picnic area with toilets, we parked with a nice view over the bay just to cook some breakfast. No overnight parking or camping, but a nice spot for a break
Lovely beach with plenty of parking. The dog loved it
Lovely views, very well kept and tidy, shame the toilet is closed for winter.
