What a surprisingly delightful find!!!
Came across this place after walking around and deciding to stop for coffee, was expecting a makeshift church hall type of place but was pleasantly surprise by what we found, a proper coffee shop with the added bonus of being dog friendly AND live music.
Lovely place and very welcoming, will definitely come again.
We didn't eat here . We where there on a night time event. It was a meatloaf tribute act. With it being an old Chapel the sound was brilliant. Great atmosphere, and they are licensed to serve alcohol, bottles, cans and spirits. We had a great night .
Loverly interior where we sat - balcony up above and ginormous organ.
Capochino I had was great.
Need better signs to attract people walking Brunswick street. If you want to know what a 5 stars cafe is like I suggest you visit the Willow cafe in Loftus
Stumbled across this place,and so glad I did .Friendly staff made me and my son very welcome, lots of information about Whitby,does bands day and night .What a little gem of a place. Fabulous coffee
What a hidden gem this place is !! The first thing that hits you is the amazing architecture, as this beautiful place is an old church. The vibe of the cafe is a combination of the building and the staff who are so friendly, and the feeling of being able to really relax with plenty of space is perfect. The choice of coffees, teas, shakes and other food and drinks is great, and honestly one of the mochas I have ever had. The cafe is a family run business and looks they’re putting on quite a good mix of evening events and also acoustic and various other entertainment during certain days. I would highly recommend this place to anybody wanting a chilled friendly feel good vibe with a customer first attitude.
Was there for a Saturday night party. Lovely buffet food. People working there were great. Spacious room. Recommended.
Im so pleased I stumbled across this lovely coffee shop. I had a mocha and it was delicious. The man who served us was lovely too. I'd recommend calling in!
So glad my husband and I found this place. Lovely little café in an amazing chapel. Ordered tea and a very delicious jacket potato (with super crispy skin - just how it should be). The building also has a full list of evening events from folk and jazz music to mind, body spirit and craft events. Owners were lovely to chat to and it's dog friendly too. Highly recommend.
