A little chippy tucked away in the alleys of Carmarthen. Its a unique chippy as they literally do Chips and Seafood. It's a sort of hidden gem.
It goes without saying that the food is phenomenal. I have almost all the loaded fries options (apart from Halloumi), Calamari, Cockles, Whitebait, & Prawn.
Each one is great added with their own spicy Mayo and other toppings.
The chips are always crispy and not too well done.
The haddock burger was crispy and light.
The only downside I would say is that i come here almost every week as its only a short walk from where I work. And so because of how good it is my poor card and wallet can't CATCH a break.
If you are looking for a quick unique fix and having a craving for fish and chips, give it a try. They staff are very friendly and welcoming.
Best chip shop I've ever been to. A large variety of fish and seafood, the chips are really good.
I especially love the loaded fries
The service is always good, and the staff can speak Welsh (though I don't)
And it's really good value, particularly when you think of the quality of the fish
Amazing food, nice and chilled environment. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and willing to accommodate changes to the meals. Had loaded fries with Calamari and Whitebait, portion was huge and couldn’t finish it dispute my best efforts. Absolutely will be back again.
Ordered cod and chips, was served very quickly and the food was ready quickly. The chips were excellent and a good portion, the cod was a good size for the price but the batter was under seasoned, letting it down. My friends had the loaded chips which they said were great.
Was visiting, but would try again next time I'm in Cardiff.
Brilliant fish and chips! We were bowled over by how good it was.
Fresh fish (haddock) with tasty chips. We also had an excellent fish cake. Looks like they were good about sourcing sustainable fish.
Service was really helpful, friendly and efficient. Meal was cooked to order, with generous portions.
You have to find it down a dark alley, but if you do, you will not be disappointed.
If you enjoy proper fish and chips, strongly recommended. A real treat to discover it in Carmarthen.
Lovely little business creating beautiful flavour combinations. Best chips I've had in a long time and service was so friendly and efficient we will definitely be going back to Catch.
Wow, just wow. Best fish n chips I've ever had. Lovely people too. Freshly caught mackeral, home made coleslaw, presented to a restaurant standard. Find them off Guildhall Square through the alley, adjacent to Days.
I now see what all the fuss is about! After seeing several newspaper columns about Catch i had to drive down from swansea to try them out. This is not your standard chippy by any means, you can tell from the first bite it's fresh beautiful produce. I had the loaded fries and cod, all seasoned to perfection. I will be coming back to try the rest of the menu! Thankyou Guys!
