Avoid at at all costs. Was given a filthy courtesy car, with barely any air in the tyres (not road safe) which stank of cigarettes. Failed to diagnose and repair car on three consecutive occasions. Poor correspondence to the point that the Manager ended up not picking up my calls, nor were any calls returned. Had to wait weeks for a refund - I was told a check was in the post, but after 2 weeks (and no check delivered) had to insist on a bank transfer... as my calls where not returned, I had to physically drive to the garage twice to ensure that this simple procedure was done. And the office manager had the temerity to gaslight me as though everything was okay. I am still waiting for my refund. Use them at your peril.
Just to add to this review.
When I got the car back, a mechanic came my house and diagnosed the problem within 10 minutes of popping the hood. He fixed the car and had it back to me in 2 days.
New warning lights showed up on my dashboard half way down the M3. on a dark wet and windy night, so I crossed my fingers and got to Poole. I found Castleman by chance, and though they were busy they agreed to do some diagnostics to confirm that it was safe for me to drive home. (Or not.) Great, efficient, and friendly service. They could get the part the next day, but assured me that I would be fine getting the work done at my local garage and kindly wrote down the error codes and what was needed so I could order in advance. Thank you!
Sharon's customer service is always outstanding. Been with Castleman for a few years, Sharon always gets back to me quickly and is kind enough to drop my car at work for me. So pleased to be with a friendly and trustworthy garage!!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I paid £1500 in advance so they could but brake spares for my Audi. That was 2 months ago. What has followed has been absolutely disgraceful. I was given a filthy dangerous 30 year old courtesy car. They then said they had received the wrong spares. Then they told me the parts were on order. Then they took the car again - no courtesy car this time. I waited until the end of the day - chased them up - sorry parts were wrong.
I told them that I no longer wanted them to do the work and requested a refund. Since then, I have phoned, emailed and txd Sharron Cooper the so- called Managing Director of Castleman and have had every conceivable excuse for not paying me back my money.
They didn't have the correct card details for me
She had to wait for her accountant to sign it off
She has to wait for a payment run before transferring me the money
Her computer was playing up and she had to wait for it to be fixed.
I have threatened legal action and have still to this day not had my money back.
Truly horrendous and un-professional - I have had no work done and had £1500 stolen from me. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE - OR YOU WILL REGRET IT

I used this garage for a simple oil leak, they manage to make the leak worse and did not fix the problem. £600 down the drain, still waiting for a refund! Thankfully took it to another local garage that were great and they fixed the problem for £250.
Where to start... offered a day to book in for repair. Called to arrange a 1 hour fix and then told it's now a weeks wait. Booked in with use of courtesy car. Blocked in when went to collect it so had to drive home again. Booked in for another day that I had to take off as holiday to be told on the morning of the fix that part not arrived. Re booked again! And got a courtesy car. An old Peugeot 107 that was so loud I'm suprised it wasnt condemned for noise pollution. It smelt so badly of mould or death that me and my wife had to wash our clothes after 5 mins of driving. The car was also flashing low petrol but we didnt waste our money on filling up their car as we only did 2 miles in it. But 3 days after we dropped it back I get a snotty text telling me that 'I' left them.with no petrol and now it wont start!!! I'm not doubling the value of their car by putting 5 litres of petrol in for them for 2 miles driving. I'm not sure how they got these 5 star reviews but from a genuine customer I advise anyone thinking of using this company to try another, or even try fixing it yourself. You couldn't do much worse! A terrible experience overall. Avoid!
Very good professional & honest service. I had a grinding sound when braking,I thought it would be new pads. I was reassured & shown by Alex that the pads had plenty of meat left on them,he suggested having brakes stripped cleaned & greased,he did this for me a few day later,at a very good price.
Excellent service from castleman cars .huge thankyou to Clint and all he's team . especially the lady in the office Sharon who kept me updated with my car.it ended up being in there for longer .but wow feels soo much better to drive .so huge thankyou to Clint and Sharon ????????????xx
