Beautiful place to fish. Caught a few roach and bream. On site cafe was great, the owner was really helpful. Will definitely return
First time fishing at castle ashby. I fished Scotland pond and from first cast it was non stop skimmers and bream it was great sport and definitely will return ???? I fished the method feeder with groundbait and sticky pellets with a 6mil wafter very successful day
Fished Brickyard yesterday. A cracking little mixed fishery in idyllic settings. I had a go on the wag n' mag and had quality roach all day with some lovely rudd as well. Biggest was just over 1lb. My friend was on the method and had some stunning, mint conditioned carp up to around 5lb. The bailiffs were helpful and approachable. We will definitely be going again as we would like to try the other lakes.
Love to get out on the lakes here, super fishing most of the time, like most fishing venues you get your slower days, but still one of my favourite places to spend the day, facilities on site, cafe and toilets, friendly, welcoming and great for day tickets.
A beautiful lake full of fish, its not an easy place to fish but get it right and you will bag up, there were also a pair of red kites flying around which was amazing
Well stocked, possibly a little over fished which shows in the health of some fish
All 3 lakes make for great fishing. Lovely surroundings too.
Spent a day on Brickyard. £8 for a rod and cafe on site. Nice place!
