Superb bakery with lots of lovely treats as well a great selection of freshly baked breads
Not good!!!!
Small loaf and 4 rolls weighed and cost a TON. Tasteless and tough. Birds had a very costly feast. I went to the shop in Whitefriars, cant remember which date but it was my third visit. First two shop was closed but I fear the goods were left over from that period. Bought small white loaf and 4 white rolls. Certainly not fresh. Had to get another the next day elsewhere. Small sliced fresh white crusty for 50p. It was lovely. Very disappointing !!!
Lovely food, great atmosphere. It's not a first visit to this lovely, Italian bakery. I love their sourdough bread but amazing rolls and sweet treats are also available. Today we got some amazing, tasty sandwiches, just superb and the Frankfurt Twist, sold only on Saturdays, their healthier option of a hot dog. Thank you. I will be back again...
I had been trying to find a genuine edible sourdough for some time when I came across Casello & Polegato' s stall at the Farmers Market in Perth. Well I tried the sourdough and I have to say it was delicious especially warmed or toasted. Can't wait to get another one or maybe 2 cos I don't want to run out and it freezes beautifully.
What can I say? This is simply the most outstanding baker and I would now be lost without them! I have been buying their bread many times a week for over 5 years, and it is simply the best there is. Sourdough, 5 Seed, Spelt, Kamut, and so many more are what all bread should taste like. Additionally the chocolate croissants are possibly the best I have ever had. Biscotti are delicious and you MUST buy their Panettone at Christmas! I have come to know the staff well- they are always friendly and helpful, just what you want from a local indepepdent business. Keep up the good work, guys!

Hidden gem is a true expression here! Great bread(the children were eating the milk rolls as we drove away)!

Great place, great food and great service. It's lovely to have a bakery with fresh, well made bread, croissants, buns etyc. There's a large selection with many loaves being organic.
