Overpriced. Chef gives you daggers coming in and out of the kitchen so maybe move tables further away from kitchen doors? I don't think we were in his way, just alot of back and forth carrying goods so it was distracting having doors flapping when you're trying to have a coffee ????...and staff fairy pleasant but slow service. Sorry.
Highly disappointing, this small cafe was completely understaffed on day two of the BBC Gardeners Live event.
One member of staff responsible for taking orders, asking the drinks, heating the panini’s and toasting the sandwiches, as well as taking the money. The member of staff was slow to make it worse. It’s not cheap either.
Long queues,hot and stuffy location, and at best mediocre sandwiches just made it worse.
Do your self a favour and avoid!
Disappointed with this cafe at Audley End
We were at Audley End event which allowed us to explore the gardens and house, which we stumbled upon the cart yard for coffee.
It was very busy, one person serving, queue was out the door.
With this people left.
No food for those who have food allergies.
Need more staff on event days.
A very limited range of food on sale. They have a very good Italian coffee machine for making nice cappuccino!
Nice food with lot of soft drinks, coffee tea etc with reasonable prices.
Unfortunately, it was not geared to cope with the influx of visitors to BBC gardeners world fair. One person trying his best to cope.
Only 1 person on till no help and big ques not good for a big event being held and people where turning away as service was slow
Pretty basic not a lot of choice . Be nice if there was some local ice cream as advertised.
