Took my mum here for her Birthday afternoon tea on Sunday. I would recommend it - unlimited tea and coffee. Lovely filled sandwiches, beautifully presented tasty cakes plus fruit scone, individual jams and clotted cream. We were stuffed by the end. All for a reasonable price £30 for two. Fantastic views across the Albert Dock and down the estuary from the rooftop.
What a disappointing place. Looks like it should be quite upmarket but is actually trashy. No food available. The barman was dozing as on a chair as we walked in. Standing at the bar ordering drinks, the staff were effing and blinding. The toilets were filthy. All in all not a place to visit.
Went bank holiday Sunday may 5th, 16 of us thought we would go gor a couple of hours, got there at 2.30 got a list together and went to the bar, barman rolled his eyes at having to do 16 drinks, several they couldn't do as they had ingredients missing such as no grenadine, we got our drinks 40 mins after I ordered them. Been here several times but I won't be going again lots of better places to go,they should consider getting staff who want to work in the hospitality industry.

Friendly staff, great view outside, lovely place to visit for a drink or cocktail.
I can't recommend the restaurant, the food was not great. Steak was full of gristle and overcooked burger was ok but nothing special with a small choice on the menu. Given the location there are many other much better restaurants around for the same price or less.
OK experience if just for those breath taking views from the viewing balcony from the top floor bar and restaurant ????????
Paid for breakfast got up ready and sign on lift to say sorry closed due to unforseen circumstances, Peter and Kim very apologetic. Peter always very kind and lovely.
Very friendly staff and the cocktails were very good and an average price. Fabulous view from the roof terrace. We used the lift up but came back down via the stairs. Lots of historic photos with interesting facts on the way down.all the
