A lovely simple cafe serving quick bites at a great price. One of the nicest bacon and egg sandwiches around. Really good quality bacon which isn't horribly salty and perfectly fresh eggs. Dog friendly. Google listing hours are wrong they are open 7.30am to 3pm weekdays
Best coffee shop in East Sussex.
They know my order every time I walk in, very polite, good convosation and an absolutely awesome flat white.
Tasty food, friendly staff. Lots of regulars give it a feeling of community. And dogs are allowed if they behave so there are l9ts of stroking opportunities!
What a brilliant, local cafe. Their toasties and paninis are beautiful - all freshly made and reasonably priced. Their selection of cakes is so tempting as well!
Obviously busy, no worries there. Asked for gluten free bread which seem to just get her back up. 38 weeks pregnant and feeling like I'm going to fall over I asked if I can have it without the bread and avocado which is on the menu. She was cantankerous and aggressive in the way she spoke and said she had to do whatever I wanted her to do. By this point I said no thank you and walked away to go next door. I can't imagine going back to be spoken to like this.

Lovely coffee, cakes look delicious but I was being good! Very friendly staff, great to watch the interaction with regulars. Met up with a friend for a catch up so stayed far too long chatting, but never felt any pressure to vacate the table. Highly recommended!
Lovely little cafe for lunch and dog friendly which is a bonus.
