Was just in today, always friendly fast service. Food is hot, reasonably priced and always seems wholesome and relatively healthy -- not oily or anything like that. Ingredients seem to be high quality, meat is tender and veg is fresh and crunchy. Always a nice balance of flavours too, though if you like spicy food you might want to ask for extra spicy. Really a very good take out, can't recommend enough really.
Iv was waiting on food arriving for 40 minutes and was made to go collect it and when got home and open then food there missing items and had to go collect it once again actually biggest waste of time ever
Ordered delivery of meal for 7pm was still waiting at 7.45pm. This is not acceptable. I telephoned they said they were very busy i asked for a refund but they did not know how to work card machine to issue refund. Absolute nightmare! Why take orders over the phone to be delivered ar a certain time when they are not. Considering i phoned this order in at 5.30pm for 7pm thats shocking customer service!! Oh yes got it delivered at 19.45pm carrots hard, onions hard meal was terrible.
I came here regularly for years and it would be of comparable quality to more well known authentic Chinese restaurants like Mandarin Gardens while being more local. However, the last two times the food quality has been unacceptably poor. I can no longer recommend this takeaway restaurant. It is greatly disappointing that you decided to both raise the price and reduce the quality. Sauces now watery and flavourless so does not coat the meat, water chestnut no longer added, less spring onion and fresh chilli, velveted chicken dry and chewy. The woman now working in the front-of-house (British, brunette) needs to work on customer service skills. I would be happy to discuss these points further with the management team, however I will not buy from here again.
Tried to order chips and curry sauce (£3.70) with the curry sauce on the side. First she tried to charge me for chips and curry sauce and then another portion of curry sauce, and I had to explain to her again I want them separate. Then she tried to charge me £5.25 for a separate portion of chips and a separate portion of curry sauce, and when I asked her why it was so much more all she said was it has to be charged separate. They don't make it together in the first place so I'm struggling to understand the price hike for them not putting the sauce on the chips.
By far my favourite Chinese takeaway in Dundee. Food is always brilliant and really consistent, you know exactly what you're getting.
We've gone here for years, only ever had one error with an order in that time - and they immediately fixed it no questions asked and provided phenomenal service.

The quality of the food has been deteriorating at Canton House over recent months. Pity because I've used this place regularly for many years and it's always been consistently good quality. Started to deteriorate when it changed hands. Wont be going back.
This was the first time I have used this takeaway since moving house. The appetiser of salt and chilli deep fried chicken wings was delicious and sufficient enough for a main meal. The chicken curry fried rice was tasty and so plentiful that I only ate half. The rest I have saved for breakfast! What?
