I recently visited this restaurant and I would like to share my experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, and the staff provided excellent service. However, there was one major disappointment—the calamari dish.
The carbonara and sea bass that I ordered were delicious and satisfying. However, the calamari was extremely disappointing. I have never had calamari that was as unappetizing as this. The outer batter was excessively hard, making it difficult to bite into. I'm not sure if this is the norm for the restaurant or if they used leftover batter to fry the dish.
Overall, the restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the service was commendable. However, the disappointing calamari dish left a negative impression on my dining experience. I would recommend trying other menu items at the restaurant, but I personally will not be returning.
My friend and I came here with our 2 young kids a few weeks ago and the service was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble even when they moved all the candles and glasses from our section of the restaurant so the boys didn't break anything! A big thank you to them for their kindness and wonderful service.The food and the atmosphere was great and I look forward to coming back.
The cafe is Nicely decorated and the interior design is beautiful. Staff were very nice and friendly upon arriving until we started having issues with our food
The Burgers looked lovely, however they should ask how you like your burger cooked as a preference. My burger came out pinkish in the middle and I like my burgers cooked through properly (well done).
I asked to swap my burger it was swapped with no quibbles or apology, which was not impressive. I opted for a pizza and had to request Parmesan cheese. Even though the service was not great it was speedy and we got a free babychino for our little girl upon request
Firstly, the service here is excellent, really attentive and hospitable staff which complements the great food. Lovely atmosphere too!
I went for the Risotto con Pollo, or chicken risotto. What eventually came was a very tasty and generous portion of risotto with chicken and mushrooms in a creamy tomato base. I'd prefer more of a savoury, mushroom base, but it was still very good.
Unfortunately, the service was very slow. I timed the wait between ordering two entrées and receiving the food - we waited 40 minutes. In a busy restaurant on a Saturday night this might be expected, but it was a Thursday night and the place was not even half full. We had a similarly long wait before receiving the bill.
The food here is good but the service is too slow. Don't eat here if you're in a rush.
Been to Roberto's a couple of times and both times it has been lovely! If you are looking for freshly made food served with a smile this is the place for you. The portion sizes are great as well. I look forward to our next visit!
This is our second time going, it is amazing, the staff are very friendly and courteous, the food is excellent, we will go again and again.
