Absolutely brilliant, called this morning, got the car in today and picked it up fixed. Called me to advise the problem, 20 minutes after dropping it off. Great price as well. Can’t praise the guys enough and certainly going back.
Wife's car broke down on a friday night, had it recovered to Chris' garage. Called in to chat to Chris on Monday, car was fixed by mid afternoon, new drive shaft fitted. AA said likely gearbox gone, so that was a relief. Top quality service, thanks C W Autos!
I am giving it a 2 star purely for the mechanic getting me out of some brake trouble in an emergency as I had some really bad grinding from them and for allowing me to purchase my own parts but unfortunately that's where it ends. On collection of the car and driving away I noticed the grinding was still present, so I took it back and then he decided to say "Oh yeah, it wasn't the front that needed doing it was the rear" why he felt he could not tell me this on collection I don't know?? A few days later he took my car for an MOT, it came back failed on emissions, he told me it was definitely the Catalytic converter along with 2 lambda sensors, no checking, no diagnostics, didn't even take into consideration a dirty great hole in the front exhaust. So was telling me to spend approx. £790 for parts and labour to replace the CC and sensors.
I sort a 2nd opinion after researching symptoms of a bad CC to which apart from emissions issue there were none and then had the exhaust and the other parts replaced by another good mechanic and it sailed through the retest. My issue here is that this "Mechanic" would have made me spend that kind of money when it definitely DID NOT NEED IT!!!! I have been informed by 3 Expert car mechanics that he would have found the issue if he had done his job more efficiently and done what he was supposed to do.
I'm not saying he has tried to scam/con me or whether he priced me out so he didn't have to do the job...either way in my view a tad dishonest. I will not be using CW Autos again as his "professional opinion has now been severely compromised. I could call and explain my issues to them but what would be the point, I am not after anything, I just want others reading the reviews to be aware of what he has done to us so they can make their own minds up.
Now as i stated they ave replied and are being dishonest again by coming up with all this utter rubbish to try and humiliate a customer who had a very bad experience with them by being dishonest as they can not/will not accept responsibility for their mistakes as per other bad reviews they have recieved. Its so frustrating what lengths some business's will go to try and make readers believe that the "Customer" is wrong....accept it CW, you failed miserably in giving good customer service and care, you were not totally honest as you are proving now and to clarify I did call you 3 times and to cancel an appt with u and once I will admit I forgot to cancel to which I called and applogised profusely to your assistant. See whatI did their, I owned my mistake. If you feel that replying with this nonsense to cover up your poor service that you gave me is the way forward then perhaps you should take some much needed lessons in Customer Service and Business information. I hope this eases your future customers opinions of your unusual business ethics as again you may have put their minds at ease....hopefully. Good luck with your future customer complaints. x

Have used this garage twice now, both times for clutches on different cars. Both times they've been the best price around, and got it in the soonest. All work is done to a high standard and they don't try to upsell anything. What more can you ask for.
Absolutely fantastic service, phoned after diagnosis, with a quote ready before carrying out any work to ensure the price was okay. Done in a timely manner, very friendly staff, will be back again!
