Fantastic range for a breakfast menu and good prices. Was not very busy but still a nice atmosphere and pleasant staff. Quick service as well.
Had wanted to pop in here for a long time so made time for it today.
Very nice and will be back.
Breakfast are OK. Had lunch the other day. Ham egg and chips. Expecting a nice amount of cold ham. Got only what I can describe as two circular wafer thin bits of warm bacon. But was edible.
Simple truck stop style Cafe food, but delicious and very reasonably priced! Really helpful and friendly staff who seem to be able to make food appear in a trice! I had probably the best egg and chips ever - the chips were hot and crispy, and the eggs perfectly cooked with nice runny yokes. Simple food done very well - can't fault it! Give it a try - you won't be disappointed.
Stopped her on our travels.
Lots of food choice but I had a breakfast, bit on the dear side £8.95.. 1 sos, 1 bacon, 1 egg, fried bread and a few cold beans. I could count the beans on my plate. wasn't very warm at all.
Had bread that had been defrosted in the microwave as it was warm n edge was hard and the butter was solid, impossible to spread...
Love this place and the new management has made it 10 times better.
Good, clean, simple food, friendly and quiet. Definitely worth stopping in if you're going past.
Asked for bacon sausage and egg and beans sandwich. We was eating in and it came out in a take away box. Egg may as well have been hard boiled ???????? And beans just dropped ontop of the sandwich. Worse start to a Bank Holiday weekend ever.... Will never return here again even though i pass this daily for work.
great breakfast, called in on our anniversary day out. Just off the junction of A17 and the Ancaster road near Cranwell. Unusual place set back from road like a cross between a timber lodge and an American motel, neat clean and tidy. The food is home cooking at its best and we enjoyed freshly cooked full English with Tea and Toast. Very friendly service and good value. Highly recommend.
PS. Fabulous Triumph sports car in BRG parked outside! .... you can see the Kitchen in the background ????
Been going here for years, but it looks lije it has new owners and is now called the Horse Shoes Cafe. Stripped out modernist look. Breakfast not as good as it used to be. Fried bread i stead of toast. A bit to greasy. Will cross it off my places to visit on that road.
