I love Burrator. It's perfect for either a short stroll or the 3.9-mile walk around or even as a base for longer hikes. It's beautiful, easy to get to as well as super relaxing.

Great place for a family walk also nice and flat for people with mobility issues and we managed to grab a coffee and ice cream from the ice cream van ????

Good for a quick visit as it is just the reservoir there. On road parking, toilets available but very dirty when we visited in November. Ice cream van present, also selling hot choc. Nice views over the water and forest.

Brilliant walk. We parked near the arboretum and did the whole circular walk. Only took 2.5hrs with a small picnic stop half way round near the dog exercise area (the only part of the walk dogs are allowed off lead near the resevoir).

Breathtaking place , great for walk and adventure, look at the pictures, they talk for themselves!

Very beautiful and nicely kept. Amazing views. Complete the loop for a good day's walk. Bring drink and own food, only came across an ice cream van. No bins so bring a bag for your rubbish. Mostly level walk.

Beautiful warm day for October and a walk around the reservoir. Lots of people enjoying the area, pity about all the cars disturbing the peace.

Lovely walks.... We didn't follow a specific walk, just flowed our noses and enjoyed a good few hours exploring.
