Disappointed, this was such a consistently good restaurant, but sadly the owners have changed after 25 years, and not sure if the new owners are having teething problems? Food mediocre, roast dinner basic, not fresh veg. Tomato and avocado salad with goats cheese was 90% lettuce, half a tomato and goats cheese very soggy.
Ladies toilet had one out of two working, and the one they said was working didn't flush, and the door was so far off its hinges the lock was about 6"away from where it should have been, and the tap on wash basin didn't turn off! Reported it to landlord who said he knew about it and I could have used the disabled one. Would have been useful to know before I went in there!
Won't be going back in a hurry, as feel the toilets should have been a priority before reopening.
Quick pint and a meal. Lovely barman and the chicken nasai goreng was tasty.
Been here a few times. For lunch in the garden during the summer and more recently for dinner and a pint..ways great food and service and a nice selection or local beers!
An attractive ambiance, very friendly and efficient staff, prompt service and delicious food beautifully presented. Tempting tasty puds too! Good value.
