Lovely sweet shop. Lady was friendly and very helpful. Great array of sweets.
Found what I was looking for (Rose and Lemon Turkish Delight) however did feel £3.50 for 7 small pieces was a little expensive.

lovely little shop, but the chocolates tasted cheap and certainly not worth £5.80 per 100g.

They come at me, accusing me, obviously sarcastically of "being a choclatier" (spoiler, im not, i just know garbage chocolate and ingredients) just because I've called them out for selling cheap chocolates. They also say they haven't had complaints, hey dip shish mabye that's because style over substance means something. You know the market you're selling to, it's a lovely shop in a lovely area and people expect quality, they're obviously unlikely to be bothered to leave a review after their holiday here. It's also funny you've left such an aggressive response to me, but kind offers of refunds to others who clearly haven't called you out like I did.
The lady did protest too much.
Lovely little traditional shop. We had the chocolate strawberries and they were delicious. Would definitely recommend. Staff were also super friendly. We also thought it was reasonable pricing.
What a great little shop. My daughters and I called in here for some chocolate on the way back from the beach. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and a very happy guy. The shop is clean and offers high quality product. Though there are other nik naks sweets etc... In the shop also.
I found the servicd friendly and we even had a chat for a minute or two before leaving the store. We will visit again next time we are in Robin Hoods Bay.
Good shop with a lot of character, good ice cream. Stop here on the way back up the hill when you visit Robin Hood Bay. They do a lot of chocolates as well
Beautiful little place to visit.. a steep walk down to the beach but the most beautiful views. Never been before but will definetly be going again.

Out of all the shops we went in today Brown's was by far the best and friendliest. Highly recommend.
We stopped at this shop as we were visiting the village because the chocolates looked so appealing in the window. I got about 300g of beautiful chocolates of different sorts. They were so good!!!
We are leaving the area soon but I'm pretty sure we will have a stop there before doing so. These chocolates will be lovely gifts, that is if you manage to not eat them all yourself!
