I couldn’t decide which one to pick between the white bait and the scampi at first, but I chose the white bait. It was the best white bait I’ve ever had. after that I thought the scampi would also great so I tried it and It was good. The lady was so kind and she let us know that we could see a starling murmuration today so we were able to see the amazing show:)
Visited Brighton as a tourist from Canada. It’s owned by a lovely lady and the smoked mackerel sandwich was amazing. Definitely will come back if I’m in the area later.
Brighton smokehouse is a lost relic of Brighton. Local food for a good price, with nothing but the best ingredients and service.
The crab sandwich, a full juicy sandwich with soft bread and crisp salad.
The whitebait box, crispy crunchy golden delight, not too fatty whilst retaining the classic taste, with a rich fresh and citrusy tartare sauce.
The smoked mackerel sandwich, smooth Smokey overtones with beetroot slaw, rich dressing and a crusty piece of ciabatta.
This was absolute perfection and a must have for locals and tourists.
With two soft drinks we spent £25. Bargain
I had the smoked mackerel special today and it was a bit salty but so fresh and delicious! I don't know how they manage to make beetroot tastes so intereting, but these guys did.
Love this place. A must stop with me pooch on walkies by the beach. Always a good chat and treats for the pooch, alongside the best herring + bacon + salad sandwich EVER!!
Great place by the beach sidewalk where you can get fresh fish that was caught that day on their own boat. The staff are super fun and polite and they sell out of their daily catch super quickly. If you are craving something fresh and trustable this would be the place to go in Brighton beach. Highly recommended!
We had 1 x sea bass and 1 x unsmoked mackerel ciabatta’s with a great salad filing and they were both amazing. Super fresh of the highest quality with lovely smiling service, eaten on the beach in the sun! What more could you want?
Amazing spot for a quick lunch. Order some great food and bask in the sun while enjoying the quality of whatever you have just ordered... The reviews say it's good and they are right!
