This is great spot. Rooms are modest and well worn but large. Beds are comfortable. Staff very friendly. Breakfast is among best I have ever had in UK. Nice view of Harbour. Great value for money.
Expensive for what it is. Seems to be relying on good reviews of days gone by.
PROS: Lots of character. Clean and spacious.
CONS: No breakfast. No staff. One towel each, no hand towels or face cloths. One power point in our room which was behind the bed so I had to move the bed to charge our devices.
Limited facilities. Wifi is intermittent and weak.
Advertised as providing breakfast but this was false.
Feels more like a hostel or an Airbnb than a guesthouse which is fine if that is what you are expecting.
Beds are average.
I must have been unlucky as the room wasn't very clean and was musty. The window wouldn't stay open and it could have done with a proper thorough clean. Shame as the building had a lot of character. Breakfast was nice and Scottish, filling.
Really friendly and breakfast was tasty and of a large size. Room big with good view. Easy walk into Wick and to the Old Pulteney Distillery
Proper lovely staff, massive room and a good breakie. Really enjoyed our stay on our John O Groats to Lands End trip.
Lovely large area for a family to relax in, heating was good which is important up north and totally quiet and central location. Nothing to fault really.
Very nice apartment
Great accommodation close to the centre of Wick
; clean, tidy and good value.
